"Dear Woot, Thank you. Thank you so much.

That’s the sort of letter we’re expecting to get from people who buy this Rockwell RC5030K Shop Series 2HP Plunge Router Kit. Not just because of the variable speed dial that gives control in a variety of materials with a variety of bits. But because the Rockwell RC5030K Shop Series 2HP Plunge Router Kit finally means that all those people trying to finish their cabinets and end tables won’t be stuck rubbing a Belkin hub across a board for hours.

The Rockwell RC5030K Shop Series 2HP Plunge Router Kit means that, finally, you can put an end to trying to use the power of the Internet to help with your carpentry. No more Goatse bookshelves or I Can Haz Spice Raks. With the Rockwell RC5030K Shop Series 2HP Plunge Router Kit’s large ergonomic grip in hand, you’ll be able to enjoy the kind of router that would make an Amish man proud. In a manner of speaking.

So, we here at Woot just wanted to take a moment and say “You’re Welcome”. But please, don’t try to hook it up to your Mac.

this woot off has basically been a way to clear their warehouse of all the dumb bullshit they somehow have acquired. Haven't seen anything remotely interesting yet.

in general, yeah, but usually they sprinkle in some stuff that while I may not buy, at least it interests me slightly.

I mean, half the fucking woot-off this go round has been shitty kids digital cameras, wine, and those shitty remote control helicopters.

"Well, we all did it again. Another woot-off over. Remember all the happy moments we shared? How Jason got up on the counter and did a kegstand? When Matthew threw a brick at Dave and everyone laughed? When Scott decided to drink all the wine by himself to help end the detour, and then he had to go get his stomach pumped? Or how about when superspryte said that thing about Japan? These are the days we’ll treasure when we’re old.

If you want to remember the special moments of this woot-off, buy a set of Woot-Off Lights with a Screaming Monkey. This special combo is your way of saying “Hey, I have a monkey and some lights! I was there!” And one day, that might be important. Some of you threw out your Star Wars figures too early, after all. You could have retired on that. Don’t make that mistake twice with the Desert Camo monkey.

Are you sitting there asking yourself “Will these ever come back again?” That way lies madness. Instead, just tell yourself that the Woot-Off Lights with Screaming Monkey are almost gone, only seconds left, and if you don’t get them now you’ll regret it. And then get them. That’s the sort of thinking that made this country great. And helps us cover our staff insurance policies. Stomach pumping is really sort of expensive these days. Even in Japan.

bttt cause they might do something clever again this year.

Last year those awful batteries/power packs were hilarious. I bet a lot of people bought them and just threw them away.

What's going on here?

We got your order. Hang on a second while we check our inventory to make sure we have enough stuff available to fill your order.

You can stick around to make sure your order goes through, or just leave and check your account page later. If sale's listed there, it means everything went fine. If it's not, it means your order got denied. "

Me too... I am stupid. However now I am processing my order aand...

Their servers are going so slow because it is figuring out which orders to kick back and which to actually process. I'm sure it's rejecting thousands or orders every second.

I thought I was DOOMED not to get one after I showed up late to it and fucked up the first order.

Looks like I was wrong. I'll try to remember to post in here with what I got. Last time I got 1 6gb sansa, 2 4gb sansas, and 1 2gb cheapo sansa. The only ones that work 100% are the 6gb and the 2gb, and one 4gb is totally buggered and the other is moderately buggered (works sometimes, sometimes it doesn't). Also got some weird singing chinese blinking toy that I gave to my brother to be an asshole and a little nylon bag that said "WINE" on it that I gave to my parents because I don't drink wine much at all. OH, it also came with an emergency jump starting battery kit thingy for my car, which I have yet to charge and put in my car... I should do that. But yeah, you can totally get some sweet ass shit in one of these.

The loots! Right to left: Hand crank flashlight & emergency radio (with light and thermometer); Waterproof film camera; 2 large shirt.woot.com "Yay! Broccoli!" shirts that are going to be used for painting by my brother; A galvanized steel bucket (Random? LOL); A green laser pointer with a broken lens (I'm tempted to fuck with it only thing wrong is the glue for the lens was bad and the lens is now bouncing about in the thing); six different mp3 players (all sandisks, half verified working); And a bunch of sandisk headphones and e2xx series connectors;

PRETTY DAMN NICE FOR $8!

I already gave away the bucket and the shirts. I'm going to work to get the mp3 players working again and probably sell this (and some of the mp3 players from my last woot-off) on ebay to make some money. That is, unless I get some good employment news soon, in which case they're gonna be sold to my friends for $mcdonalds.
