^ do you have a higher res version of that drip shot? f'n awesome
6/27/2006 9:45:53 AM
^ yeah but its on my computer at home. this is just one i had on photobucket. Ill have to try to find the high res. glad you like it. took a couple of attempts but i think i finally nailed it.
6/27/2006 10:14:52 AM
attn photographers, plz2not strip exif info from your photos. Photoshop's save for web does this and most free hosting sites do this if they resize the photo for you.
6/27/2006 10:38:04 AM
^^ yeah, I'll PM you my email if you could send me the higher res. version
6/27/2006 12:11:21 PM
^^yah man, i am griped than "save for web" strips it but its so handy for my processing routine-ZiP!-
6/27/2006 12:23:02 PM
i always save mine as jpegs, so the exif should still be on there. all i do is resize down.
6/27/2006 12:36:28 PM
^^^ ok sounds good. hopefully i can still find it at home.
6/27/2006 1:06:31 PM
One picture for page 25Shot with d50. D50 users: does your camera over expose? i had to shoot atleast a stop lower to make correct exposures.
6/27/2006 6:19:45 PM
in bright sunlight sometimes i can see a bit of some over exposure in program and automatic.but then again its not "over exposed" in the since of washing out detail and such. pay attention to your metering i suppose.
6/27/2006 6:49:29 PM
i shoot almost exclusively on aperture priority-matrix, unless it's tricky then i spot meter. after playing with the d50 i find that -1.0 compensation is best, otherwise a lot of overexposure(even the histogram says so). anyway i like the d50. i shoot mainly with d70 which has a tendency to undexpose then i shot that with +1/3.
6/27/2006 6:58:01 PM
yeah, i've noticed it too... i normally end up going manual for normal stuff and program stop down for quick stuff.
6/27/2006 7:20:13 PM
yes, my d50 does seem to overexpose sometimes in bright sunlight and in some other situations. sometimes i bracket for safety in manual mode.-ZiP!-
6/27/2006 9:19:58 PM
The gauges are never 100% accurate because the photographer always has different aim.[Edited on June 28, 2006 at 5:09 AM. Reason : ]

<3 this thread ]
6/28/2006 5:29:48 AM
It isn't a professional camera so metering isn't that accurate. It is better with better (more expensive) professional level cameras
6/28/2006 12:33:37 PM
lol 600 dollar camera...5000 dollar camera...IT BETTER BE FUCKIN BETTER!
