Howell looks beastly. Vandenberg even looks like he's added some muscle. It's good to finally see those 3 freshmen in State uniforms.

The Larry Harris four frame zoom was funny. Not to count the chickens before they hatch but a 2011 class of Uchebo, Nelson-Ododa and Tyler Harris would be pretty sweet.
9/20/2010 5:40:29 PM
i lol'd at the photoshop
9/20/2010 5:42:13 PM
I think it would be nice if we picked up a shooting guard for '11, especially since CJW is gonna be gone after next year, and there's no telling how long LoBro is gonna stick around depending on how good he is.
9/20/2010 7:40:20 PM
^Which is why we want guys like Harris and Seagears.
9/20/2010 7:43:42 PM

had a bizarre dream last night that we played Seton Hall in Reynolds Coliseum and it was absolute pandemonium. it was 47-47 at halftime and CJL scored all 47. i got to sit on the floor. it was joyous.(why seton hall, i have NO idea)[Edited on September 22, 2010 at 10:11 AM. Reason : .]
9/22/2010 10:11:16 AM
wow, I just realized that I had a dream about our bball team and CJ Leslie last night too. It was real short, but I remember CJL had back to back alley-oop dunks and the crowd was going nuts
9/22/2010 10:21:36 AM
well I had a dream that we went ofer on the year and all committed ritual suicide.jk
9/22/2010 10:26:34 AM
hahahahha i had a dream last night that ncstatetke was at a local community center wearing an ASU shirt and yelling at people about getting new tires put on his tractor. i am not making this up.
9/22/2010 10:57:42 AM
Visited Naadir Tharpe this week.Influx of talent transfering to WOG. Uchebo and Warren are playing for Quinten Jackson this year.
9/24/2010 7:37:38 AM
I want the (assumed) Asian on that recruiting list.
9/24/2010 8:16:08 AM
I know this isn't directly related to State but Austin Rivers just committed to Dukehttp://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/recruiting/basketball/mens/news/story?id=5632647
9/30/2010 11:57:00 AM
rather he go to Duke than UNC, hate to play against the kid either way, awesome player
9/30/2010 12:04:40 PM
i'm pretty sure he's been duke's to lose since he decommited from florida. regardless, hope he only stays one year.
9/30/2010 12:09:42 PM

Zagsblog post about Tyler Harris. Not much other than the usual great time and fun at game comments.
10/5/2010 6:29:55 PM
Pretty much the entire team had BBQ catered to them on the East side of the RBC on Saturday. After they finished up, they all tailgated and played cornhole with all the fans in that area. Harris definitely seemed to be having a good time.

Former Texas commit DeAndre Daniels will be at the Red Rally on October 15th.
10/5/2010 9:21:04 PM
Are they still talking about him reclassifying to 2010?Also the Red Rally better have every State fan in the area show up. We need to show how much support we have for this team. Last year's was a little underwhelming. Then take that compared to Kentucky's midnight madness the same year (I know it's apples and oranges but it shouldn't be) and it easy to see why recruits would want to be part of that program (less the corruption, of course).Anyways, please show up. If anything, you'll get to see Vandy dunk for the first time in a year. He can really throw it down, too.
10/5/2010 10:04:30 PM
that would be kinda difficult considering the class of 2010 already enrolled and have been attending class (everywhere except unc) for over a month now
10/6/2010 1:18:54 AM
Looking back, those articles were from late august so I didn't know if there was a possibility of him enrolling somewhere for the spring semester as odd as it sounds.
10/6/2010 2:22:16 AM
We are back on the list for Purvis - Lowe actually went to see him last thursday iirc
10/6/2010 12:00:31 PM
Purvis thought we weren't gonna recruit him
10/6/2010 12:02:06 PM
10/6/2010 12:04:23 PM
I just noticed on our scout page we have Antonin Galaya (3 star) and Kofi Mensa (2 star) listed as prospects for this years class shown but neither have offers. Are we possibly going to add them to this years class? It looks so damn good to see three 5-star recruits on our page back in 2004 and 2005 we had one 5-star and two 4-star recruits (Simmons, Brackman and Grant & Costner, Fells, McCauley). They panned out pretty well for us. LOL at 2-star Mike O'Donnell as our only recruit in 2003[Edited on October 6, 2010 at 12:58 PM. Reason : asdf]

Zagsblog say we're recruiting a kid named God's Gift. No joke.http://www.zagsblog.com/2010/10/06/gods-gift-will-sign-in-april/

They had ONE good year, and even that year we only went to the NIT. After the 06-07 season they were a bunch of entitled malcontents who did as much to hurt the team as to help it. You can continue sucking off some dudes who rarely gave 100% and didn't win a thing if you want but I'm not whitewashing their flaws out of some misguided sense of loyalty.
10/6/2010 8:19:14 PM
Mike O'Donnell's signature move was his feet on defense. It was entertaining enough just to watch him look like he had just chugged 10 coffee's right before the game. Dude had enough energy for 3 players. The "Grant, Costner, Fells and McCauley" group underachieved so badly, it's hard for me to agree that they "panned out pretty well for us". The only good memories I have of them are:1) Beating Duke in the ACC tournament2) Beating UNC at home
