its a freshman in a math research group... chances are she has Asperger's Syndrome or is just now discovering there is stuff outside of math, such as jager and fun, and the current boyfriend is comfortable with nights at home talking about asymptotes and shit. Take her to tailgate at a game, get her to do a keg stand or two, and she'll forget all about the math boyfriend.

In other words, go for it.

No, she's actually something of a Renaissance chick. She's an actress, singer, pianist, mathematician, Presidential scholar, and extremely well-spoken. I also think she's a Christian and doesn't drink/do drugs. I'm about 10x as Aspergian as she is.

Still, next time I run into her, I will perhaps ask her out and see what happens. This will give me motivation to appear presentable in public, at any rate. When/if this happens, I will post ITT and share details.
