Well, I sure am glad I didn't get my hopes up for leaving early today. Seriously, I'm glad I didn't let the fact that I left at 12:45 pm yesterday make me think there was any chance I'd be able to do the same today. I'm also glad I didn't trick myself into thinking that requesting the vto a whole week in advance would positively affect my chances at getting it.
