Lol I didn't see what he was listed at, just saw a picture of him beside Doeren and he was noticeably shorter. So I guess Doeren is like 6'3+.Also the OL also had offers from Louisville and App. THEY'RE JUST OFFERING THE GUYS WE OFFER!!!!11!!11!!11!!!!!11111
6/8/2019 2:06:20 AM
ITT I learned that 6'2" is short.
6/8/2019 2:13:42 AM
It's shorter than me, therefore short
6/8/2019 1:24:20 PM
Weird flex, but ok, you dumb cunt

I already admitted I didn't see his height you dumb cunt
6/9/2019 3:03:28 PM
^insufferablewe apparently got two OLs and a DT commitment over the last several days
6/10/2019 9:46:05 AM
Add another 3* TE this morning with nice upside out of Fayetteville. Apparently his brother played at Elon and just got selected in the 6th round of the NFL Draft.
6/11/2019 9:05:55 AM
Also had an offer from App. Those damn guys just keep spying on us.
6/11/2019 4:17:47 PM
If you don't think teams pay attention to who other teams offer, then you're kidding yourself. You don't think Mack calling Matan while he knew he was visiting us to offer him? You don't think kids getting offered by us and then amassing a lot of other offers shortly thereafter is a little coincidental? I'm not saying these schools are ONLY offering these kids because we offered them, I think they're paying attention to who we offer/target and then they go out and evaluate those kids. Teams would be foolish not to given our recent track record of putting guys in the NFL.
6/11/2019 8:06:12 PM
6/11/2019 8:17:01 PM
^Yeah, but these aren't just in-state kids that this is happening for. We offered a 3* TE out of FL on 5/4. FSU offers on 5/19, Miami offers on 5/20, UofSC offers on 5/21. We offered 3* OT Tim Lawson out of MD on 3/26. UL offers on 4/8 and UNC offers on 5/5. We offered 3* OG Sean Hill out of GA on 3/29. UL offers on 5/7 and Miami offers on 5/8. We offered 3* TE Matthew Hibner out of MI on 5/14. GT offers on 5/28 and Michigan offers on 5/30. So either we're scouting better/faster than everyone in multiple states, including teams in those states, or teams are paying attention to who other teams offer and then scouting those kids themselves. Hell a couple of years ago we were on a TE out of SC that had 0 P5 offers and we offered. Lots of smoke he was considering committing to us and a week later Clemson offers and he ends up there. Just coincidence that Clemson totally missed a kid in their home state and then just happened to find out about him a week after we offer? That was a pretty strong coincidence.
6/12/2019 8:51:18 AM
We do this too. Christ.
6/12/2019 9:11:27 AM
6/12/2019 10:50:57 AM
Miami and UL were the only repeats on that list too. So are ALL teams copying us nationwide, but only sometimes?
6/12/2019 1:25:50 PM
No, I just don't have the time to post all the instances of it, I tried to focus on the ACC schools or the in-state schools. I'm not saying we don't do it, we definitely do with out of state kids. I just found Justin's trolling to be a bit annoying when it's very clearly something coaches do. Amato used to absolutely just recruit kids based on recruiting rankings without really scouting the kids or getting to know them. I don't see that approach as any different than looking at offers and then looking more into the kid. I just think UL has been a team that is clearly doing this as it's been multiple players and multiple OL. I just don't find it to be a coincidence and Ledford is known to be a...below-average recruiter, so it doesn't surprise me at all that he would just look at guys we identify and then scout them further. I think a month makes about sense when you get the info coming out of an offer. Then you have to actually reach out, get tape, scout, etc to see if you think the kid holds up. So anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 month for an offer seems very reasonable.
6/12/2019 2:06:28 PM
"every team pays some attention to other teams' recruiting" is a different statement then "Our staff is really good at identifying talent and I believe other schools/analysts are really paying attention to this"
6/12/2019 3:40:36 PM
Why is no one posting about the O lineman we got yesterday? Red light is on.
6/12/2019 9:38:18 PM
be the change, natureboy
6/13/2019 4:04:38 PM
sounds like we are in good shape for Safety Nehki Meredith -- 3* out of VA with 20+ offers including LSU, Texas A&M, Penn State, and muh volsalso former pack commit 4* CB Joseph Johnson is back on campus for his OV...doubt he pulls a CJL and recommits but sounds like Doeren et al are putting the full court press on[Edited on June 15, 2019 at 1:06 PM. 6/15/2019 1:04:53 PM
Meredith committed. No word yet on when other schools offered him after us
6/15/2019 9:41:42 PM
Glad to see us getting some secondary recruits. We definitely need some studs back there.
6/15/2019 9:52:24 PM
Joseph Johnson announcing July 2nd. Originally committed to us, then decommitted right around the time he became a 4*
6/20/2019 5:14:38 PM
Just changed his commitment to that time. Visited us this past weekend but also visited Penn state yesterday. Usually when someone moves up their commitment date, you suspect the most recent visit, but maybe we were recent enough to count
6/20/2019 5:16:19 PM
Signs are pointing to Texas A&M for Johnson. He was rumored to be moving the date up when he was visiting us, so not sure if it has anything to do with making his mind up quicker or just moving it to avoid the holiday.
6/20/2019 9:02:55 PM
Not sure where to post this but just saw where UNC's top commit for 2020, Malik Hornsby, just de-committed (4 star QB)
6/26/2019 10:18:27 AM
Mack probably told him he was going to move him to safety.
6/26/2019 10:26:01 AM
sounding more like Johnson is picking between Penn State and NCSU -- look like A&M is out of the runningits very likely penn state but glad to see the staff staying on him i guess

Pheldarius Payne committed last night. He’s a juco DL
7/27/2019 7:47:00 AM
Juco with 3 years of eligibility and a sweet name]
7/27/2019 10:29:24 AM
Yeah the name is amazing.
7/27/2019 2:27:33 PM
LB Devon Betty is on his official visit right now. High 3* linebacker out of Fort Lauderdale with a who's who of college football scholarship offers. Seems to be down to us and Kentucky, although FIU could be a dark horse for him if his family wants him to stay close to home.
9/6/2019 8:08:49 PM
^ and he committed today
9/8/2019 2:21:16 PM
^^it's kinda pointless to mention the whos who of offers these days considering how some colleges spray offers, especially Michigan. And he's from FL but fsu and miami are his only other acc offers (per 247 anyway) and SC/Kentucky are his only sec offers. That said, glad he committed!Another 3* lb, jayland Parker apparently just decommitted from Colorado, seems like we're in the mix there.[Edited on September 9, 2019 at 10:13 AM. Reason : E]

McCollum gone
9/26/2019 2:18:07 PM
^Knew he was gone when he made an unofficial visit to GT. Now the hope is we can find another solid WR prospect and McCollum goes pro in MLB haha.
9/26/2019 3:06:57 PM
3* WR Joshua Crabtree out of Wake Forest, NC looks like he might be one of our next commits.
10/17/2019 9:59:32 PM
One year back and Mack Brown is out recruiting DD 1000%. He's got seven 4* and a 5* for this class. Im not looking forward to playing UNC any time in the next 5 years...
10/18/2019 3:26:21 PM
1000%?!?! According to 247 sports, they have five 4*s, we have four. They got their first 5* today. They're ranked 29, we're 31 (before they got the 5*). How do you calculate 1000%?[Edited on October 18, 2019 at 3:34 PM. Reason : ]

New coaches of shit teams always get recruiting bumps, see if he can sustain it.
10/18/2019 3:34:37 PM
^ yup. New coaches always get the recruiting bump. Furthermore, unc was recruiting abnormally poorly under fedora. This was always going to happen. But whether or not they sustain it after a couple 6-6 seasons remains to be seen.I’d be more concerned if 1) we were recruiting poorly and 2) we dropped in a couple 4-8 seasons during UNC’s uptick. #1 is not the case. #2 is TBD. [Edited on October 18, 2019 at 3:51 PM. Reason : A]
10/18/2019 3:50:10 PM
Evans wants to start as a true FR and wants to play as a 3-4 OLB...we literally had no shot at him so stopped recruiting him months ago. Clemson literally passed on Evans and didn't even offer him and most believed that was his dream offer. UNC is still doing what they did under Fedora, they're worried more about a recruits ranking and less about their productivity/fit. Also keep in mind Tim Brewster's son works at 247, so you're routinely going to see their commits get favorable bumps.
10/18/2019 3:56:41 PM
Heard that conspiracy theory, sour grapes shit for yearsRecruiting services always bump the recruits of teams you don't like and drop your teams
10/18/2019 4:03:18 PM
Picked up 3* Josh Crabtree today. 6'3 185 WR from Heritage High.
10/20/2019 10:15:43 PM
Lost Stephen Gosnell today to the Cheats. He was a firm commitment to us (per his Twitter recently) but flipped today to UNC. Ugh.
10/21/2019 7:58:34 PM
big oof
10/21/2019 8:39:59 PM
Heard another fallout is that his little brother, that we just offered, is looking like he's gonna be a high level LB
10/21/2019 8:42:30 PM
to be fair, this guy looks like he should go to UNC
10/21/2019 8:48:11 PM
Lol
