yeah, i kinda forgot they were 10 dollars a pair, why not... I'd keep the receipt for 30 or 60 days just in case they are dreadfully cheap for a reason

Sorry, piddlebug, I meant to respond to your dress... it's definitely hot! are you going to chicken out and wear a cami under it?

I'm not going to lie. You are gorgeous and have a great figure. I'm just not feeling that dress. Too busy for me. If I haven't burned the bridge, PM me if you're single and want to go on a date.

i think a long vest over it in a solid color could tone it down and make it funky... i see either a khaki cargo vest or one of the ruffly sleeveless cardi/vest things

Thank you very much I understand the dress isn't for everybody. But for me, I love color and LOVE weird things that you don't see everyday. So it fits my style/personality.

And yes, I am engaged (to Biofreak70). But I am flattered

It's a very light fabric!

I saw exactly what I wanted at a little boutique in Chapel Hill last week but it was upwards of $300

Trying to do fashion on a budget here hehe.. I could settle for yellow too but then I'd have to be more creative with the choice of shoe. I was thinking I'd do my platinum Jack Rogers sandals to compliment the navy. I've been wearing navy so much lately.

Spot on with the champion stuff at target. I got the duo dry fiteed bermudas and a couple different duo dry shirts and I absolutely love them. 3 hour bike ride with no sweating all over my clothes! And the body glide, which they have at performance bikes btw, worked fantastically well. No chafing on my thighs or blisters on my feet.

i got this from Old Navy for $30 online. It's not navy blue but from the reviews i read it's a fun bright blue.

^^ I, too, buy almost all of my workout clothing from Target. I love the selection of shorts/capris/pants AND they come in tall lengths!! I also really like one line of sports bras from Old Navy - they are constantly getting new pretty colors/patterns and are almost always on sale.

I desperately want new bedding for both of our bedrooms. I have found things I like between Target and Walmart. And all together it would be right at $200, including tax and shipping. For 2 beds, that's not bad at all. I just can't bring myself to actually do it.

But I really, really want to.

YAY! i'm glad! that stuff rules (the body glide lol). the target stuff rules too. those duo dry shirts are the bomb. and i don't know if they are still like this, prob should have mentioned it before, but they seem to fit small. like i usually wear a small and i think i get mediums in them. i guess for athletic purposes the more snug the better or something but, i still like a little room!

i ran today with my target stuff haha. your posts about getting back into shape inspired me! i haven't run but like twice since i ran a 1/2 marathon in nov. plus, i haven't been skinny in almost 2 years lol. but thank goodness for target! my stuff has held up really well, too. i always worry about that because some stuff i've gotten from the regular clothes dept in target has fallen apart within one wear without washing. but that champion stuff has been worn hard and washed hard and is still in good condition!

I could, but I don't really care for much at BB&B by way of bedding. And I'm afraid anything like that I put on now will be out of stock by the time people start paying for it. And BB&B charges way too much for what I'm wanting. We can register other places, and if we decide to I may look into. Thanks again!

i need to get some footless tights...

or, at least, some calf length leggings...

i tried on a sundress with my leggings pulled up calf length with ballet slippers...

the look was very cute but there was so much fabric bunched up on my thighs that it was annoy the piss out of me if i tried to actually wear it
