Hairston may be my most hated Duke player of all time. Anytime someone comes within 3 feet of him he flops, falls, and screams. You suck at basketball.

If you're Pitino how do you approach halftime? Give them a status update or not? Rally the troops or talk abut playing through the emotions? Do you just outright lie about Ware's chances to play again?
3/31/2013 6:02:38 PM
all basketball players do that shit thats why i dont watchi figured a man would have more pride than to flop on the ground thats just me though.[Edited on March 31, 2013 at 6:03 PM. Reason : ^grab a snickers so that you turn into a big black man]
3/31/2013 6:03:15 PM

3/31/2013 6:04:11 PM

That's a very recoverable injury I think. Much better than a knee or another muscle/joint. I think.[Edited on March 31, 2013 at 6:06 PM. Reason : As far as career ender. Obviously he's done for the year. ]
3/31/2013 6:06:01 PM
Bones are easy to fix. The problem is how much he fucked up his muscles by breaking the bones so violently.
3/31/2013 6:06:51 PM
Duke being 1 point down with nothing from Curry and Kelly out most of the 1st half doesn't bode well for Louisville.Wow, and Curry got absolutely mugged on that last possession.Guys, he's probably going to have a titanium rod in his leg, he isn't playing at the college level again. If it was an open fracture it's going to be even worse. I guess he might only end up with plates and screws, but that's a devastating injury for someone who needs a lot of lateral movement.[Edited on March 31, 2013 at 6:14 PM. Reason : sdfs]
3/31/2013 6:07:32 PM
So... Who thought it was a good idea to make Louisville's uniforms look like Zubazs?
3/31/2013 6:07:38 PM
theres a guy that broke his shin fightin and a year later he was fightin againbut he didnt jump on his shit and break it he kicked someone and it snapped clean and he never landed on it or anything so vinyl is probably right
3/31/2013 6:08:27 PM
^^Third time I've seen that observation. Still accurate and hilarious.
3/31/2013 6:10:20 PM
Well I'm going to be walking gingerly for the rest of the night. Won't see shit like that on walking dead tonight.
3/31/2013 6:14:28 PM
Theres also the WR from Alabama a few years ago that can barely walk after snapping his leg. I doubt this kid ever plays major college basketball again, if any basketball at all. I just hope he can live his life normally with no problems from it.
3/31/2013 6:14:32 PM
I enjoy the unfortunate nature of the elevated floor putting the injury right at eye level for his teammates.
3/31/2013 6:16:37 PM
you can still sell crack with a broke leg hell be fine
3/31/2013 6:17:08 PM
3/31/2013 6:17:41 PM
ware probably changed the way he was landing so he wouldn't go flying off the elevated court
3/31/2013 6:17:53 PM
I just want to know how the fuck that even happened lolUnder his own weight from jumping. That is wild
3/31/2013 6:18:22 PM

not every day you see bones on the outside....or the inside of a bone on the outsideI'd probably be throwing up if that happened five feet away from me...the sound alone would be horrendous[Edited on March 31, 2013 at 6:34 PM. Reason : ]

No way in hell I'm watching that youtube video. I saw it on tv and that was enough for me. That gif of the Louisville bench is insane. Can't imagine seeing/hearing that from the bench.
3/31/2013 6:45:47 PM
Does anyone else hear a constant murmur from the crowd? My stepdad's tv picks it up really well. Playing basketball in a football stadium is stupid.
3/31/2013 6:55:30 PM
How was that not a walk?
3/31/2013 6:56:47 PM

3/31/2013 7:03:38 PM
Smith and Siva are so fun to watch when they play under control.
3/31/2013 7:05:03 PM
fuck. Oh well. Good season. Louisville is just better.
3/31/2013 7:05:53 PM
Ok CBS, I'll head right on over to bleacher report for insider reporting
3/31/2013 7:11:22 PM
regarding the UL player's leg...
3/31/2013 7:19:55 PM
They couldnt get shit to fall at all in the 2nd half. Fatal scoring drought
3/31/2013 7:24:48 PM
Props to Louisville. Totally thought that injury would be bad juju and help Duke out.
3/31/2013 7:31:15 PM
that happens too often in sports. What is the recovery like for that?

I think at this point only "Just_roo_it" has a mathematical chance to beat me if Michigan beats Syracuse and then Louisville. (which isn't really outside the realm of possibility the way Michigan is playing right now). I'm currently rank 260 out of 8.1 million. [Edited on March 31, 2013 at 9:01 PM. Reason : .]

http://larrybrownsports.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/kevin-ware-leg-injury-bone.jpgGood view of the compound fracture on Ware. Its like he has two knees on his right leg.
3/31/2013 10:50:42 PM
been busy this evening, has The E Man been crying about Duke getting their asses whooped to a 9 legged team yet?
3/31/2013 11:05:55 PM
Open fractures are emergencies. He probably went into surgery within just a few hours after arriving at the hospital. Golden rule is 6-8 hours or less after the injury, any period after that and it is considered infected. He broke both the tibia and fibula just based in the fact his leg entirely bent downward. The surgeons will determine if he needs a plate or a rod for the tibia based on the degree of comminution and soft tissue integrity. If there is a lit of comminution then they'll need to use a buttress plate to get the bone back out to length. I imagine the syndesmosis was disrupted so there will need to probably be a transyndesmotic screw(s) used. Ware will likely never play high level basketball again. If so it would be amazing.
