that nightfall is going to make me kill myself. I did the weekly on 28 because my partner is only 28 and it took forever. I had 206 kills and he had like 170 something on a strike!

Hopefully nightfall isnt as bad as the weekly was since you have the Arc burn. If you are all level 30 then I am sure you will be fine.

We eventually did beat the weekly with two 29 and me as a 30

you need to get to level 4 to buy radiant energy/shards, which is used to upgrade raid gear earned from crota's end. im not sure if those drop in the raid though.

you can get the radiant stuff in the raid.
however, i haven't seen (yet) another way to get the runes that she sells, which you need for weapon upgrades. for the vertical upgrades at the end of the murmur's chain the first bubble requires one (and thus why i'm stuck at said bubble).

Why wouldn't you want to level her up? I'd assume that she will be who you go to to upgrade your current weapons at some point. Also, I want that sunsetting shader...it's sexy

Also, I will be looking to do the weekly heroic with both of my characters tonight if anyone would like to join. Need that 400 vanguard rep. Just upgraded my vanguard with my hunter and got a whole list of shit including a new helmet

she only trades energy for shards and vice versa. they only drop in raid.

got through the first part of the raid. Second part is wtf confusing...spent like 45 minutes and couldn't figure it out. This raid is immensely tougher than the vault of glass.

Couple dudes got some raid gloves...pretty sweet looking and they had 3 perk upgrades including some cool shit for killing hive. Pumped for Xur in the AM.

I went ahead and bought the Truth for use in VoG since I had so many coins and no void rockets.

Also I think buying new Exotic armor may be better than upgrading existing armor.

Upgrade costs 1 Exotic shard (7 coins) + 7000 glimmer + another Exotic shard (7 coins) to fully upgrade the new exotic.

That equals 14 coins and 7k glimmer.

For 13 coins I was able to purchase a new exotic armor (the same helmet I would have upgraded). I will still need one exotic shard (7 coins) to fully upgrade the new helmet. Also I can dismantle the old helmet for several Ascendant Shards.

So

New Helmet cost: 13+7=20 coins - 3-5 Ascendant Shards
Upgrade existing cost: 7+7=14 coins + 7k glimmer

No different items - I did it this morning and got two different items. Keep in mind they don't have to be for your class though - usually I have good luck

Now I wish I had remembered to use the motes on an Engram before I used coins on the new Achylaphage Symbiote helmet I bought this morning.

Has anyone gotten Ascendant Materials from the postmaster for beating the first Public Event each day? I have only been getting motes or coins from the postmaster. I have been randomly getting shard/energies in game after the event ends like always. I was hoping they would go back to putting them in the packages .

so i've discovered that if i use armor of light on my titanbubble in the crucible at least one person will run into the bubble and try to melee me every time. i'm going on like 5-kill sprees just hanging out inside my bubble in control, it's really fun.

i think it depends on your level of coinage. i think he's sitting on a pile of em. i'd rather spend glimmer myself since i can rack it up pretty easily with consummables while i'm grinding out bounties/patrols/quests.
