some of you people must've forgotten that this is chit chat

i'd offer you a chill pill to lighten up, but only if you have a system of supportive relationships and aren't predisposed to addiction, unlike like a certain someone you-know-who

it is funny that rjrumple is punching down at Rachel Marie and using the bootstrap line for real tho

classic TWW

No bootstraps here, just good old fashioned "don't get high on prescribed painkillers"

Not rocket science.

Perhaps I've been rubbed the wrong way with watching my father deal with family that can't seem to kick their habits.

All these posers in here acting like they have had a physical dependence on meds and then kicked the habit.

I only know of one person who went into the darkness and popped out the other side as a stronger person, BlackDog.

With that said, this girl is a fucking retard just based off her charges (assuming the quotes posted here are true).

Although I never abused meds or illegal drugs, my point was that I couldn't have overcome substance abuse without a support system, professionals, ongoing therapy, insurance, and a week in-patient. Like I said, everyone's situation is different. I'm done with this topic in here, but ^good job on your recovery.

Guess what, I didn't get addicted to painkillers. And addiction runs in the family."

does addiction to painkillers run in the family? problems with alcohol and stimulants don't necessarily mean you'll have a problem with painkillers.

^^^ addiction is addiction. Substituting one vice for another doesn't really change anything, although it's probably better to be addicted to weed than heroin, if you want to quibble about side-effects and social consequences.

Is this evidence of the seedy underworld of burlesque dancing? Someone should do a Nat Geo special. After we get Rachel some help, of course...

facial expression(partial smile) is the most consistent change throughout the timeline. Each picture set shows exactly the same amount of lost expressive joy as the previous set.

people are saying she got fired at Pure Gold in 2016 right before these last charges

technically homeless but is reasonably successful at sucking dicks in exchange for places to sleep (or watch the super bowl)

she walked around with a warrant for several months and finally got pinched at Starbucks

prolly trying to get some of that unicorn shit

Silver lining:
1) Her rate of weight loss from 2011 to 2013 appears healthy. However, she may be into meth now.
2) Her recidivism rate decreased significantly after 2013. However, she may be too far gone for TWW to save her.

Seems to have aged 12 years in 6 years.

Just sad overall.

Then again, nothing special about her; she is one of hundreds of thousands (million?) like that.

However, if there are TWWers who saw her as a friend should try to help if they think they can.

First step: RachelMarie admitting she has a problem.

That takes some people their entire lives. Goes hand in hand with finding their "bottom".

Addicts need to genuinely want to make a change on their own, without being forced because of family/friends, or their supply ran out.

Support systems are valuable once you made that initial step on your own in some form.

However if the person has never made the first step, family can actually extend the addiction without meaning to, especially if they are unaware of the exact problem.

That and forcing the issue before a person is ready damages rapport. Good intentions can alienate and isolate the person even farther. Same reason interventions rarely work.

TL;DR. Pusing people who aren't ready to change makes the problem worse more often than it makes it better.

Look, she obviously loves getting high more than anything else. She hasn't hit rock bottom and she's still got a ways to go. My cousin is a hardcore heroin addict and he's in his late 40s now. He's been using since he was a teenager and he's had periods where he can stay sober for a year or two and get his life together, but he eventually goes back. He's been in and out of rehab his entire adult life and ODed several times. His parents are wealthy and they've basically just resigned themselves to the fact that there's nothing left for them to do other than do the bare minimum to keep him alive and as safe as possible. I honestly think he should move to Vancouver and participate in one of their heroin maintenance programs, but unfortunately he's got priors, so they'll never let him in.

I can see why people can get hooked on opiates since it's a pretty great feeling far as drugs go, but after a day or two, I don't get the appeal of feeling like a zombie and nodding off and on. It's just not that pleasant, and the side effects are so brutal.

I think TWW should set up a GoFundMe to get RachelMarie on a methadone maintenance program since she's clearly out of control and loves her opiate nods, but she's gotta start wearing the makeup again. She'll never get the help she needs if we don't draw some hardlines for her.

I'm like kind of terrified of having surgery and accidentally getting hooked on pain pills. It's so easy to become an addict nowadays.

I mean at the very least she should go to the mall every now and then to get her face done up at the make-up kiosks for free if she can't fork over the cash since it all goes to pillz. Seriously, it's nothing but excuses with this chick.
