Won in my Yahoo league....now 2-0.Barring a -57 point performance from Drew Brees, I will drop to 0-2 in my ESPN league.

wooo, survived peyton and addai.. up 79-89 with gore to play for me and vernon davis to play for opponent.
9/19/2010 11:42:23 PM
AHHH, tied at 124 I still have Shockey to play, opponent has none
9/20/2010 12:02:12 AM
So in my main league I've played the highest scoring team both weeks. Both times I would have won if I had played almost anyone else.I've got the 2nd highest scoring team in the league after 2 weeks, but I'm going to be 0-2.
9/20/2010 12:31:18 AM
How long do you wait before trying to get someone off the waiver wire? I'm 2nd right now, but I'm not sure who to grab.
9/20/2010 1:20:51 AM
9/20/2010 1:40:32 AM
I got Breesus Christ going tonight.I feel another tie in my future.
9/20/2010 7:32:57 AM
gonna get fucked by that eli manning garbage time td
9/20/2010 8:38:39 AM
9/20/2010 9:11:20 AM
^^yeah, that hurt me tooHe only had 3ish points before it and now instead of an 11pt margin to make up, I have an 18pt deficit to overcome tonight... I have Colsten and NO's defense, so it cooould happen, but I really disliked that doodoo TD[Edited on September 20, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Reason : grr]

Out of Snelling, Tolbert and Thomas I currently have Thomas set to replace Larry Johnson (dont ask). I tried grabbing Kevin Walter, but it looks like someone snatched him up during the draft. *shrug*Does your waiver position (I'm 2) reset every week or does it increase if pick up a player and decrease when you dont?
9/20/2010 10:12:10 AM
your waiver position only changes when you pick up a player who hasnt cleared waivers yet. like if you are in the 2nd position, and the guy who is in 1st doesnt request the same player you did, you will go back down to 10th (or 12th depending on the number of teams in your league) once you pick up the player. if you wait until the player clears waivers, then you can pick up the player and not have to worry about losing your waiver priority position.
9/20/2010 10:29:32 AM
so i'm up by 5 points going into the moday night game with brees left to go against gore and SF defense...could be in for a nail-biter!
9/20/2010 10:29:38 AM
^^Thanks, I had a feeling that was how it worked. I guess I'll just take my chances then and save my priority.
9/20/2010 10:33:26 AM
is Nate Washington gonna continue to be a big target? how about Mike Thomas for Jacksonville or Shippley for the Bengals?
9/20/2010 10:35:13 AM
trusting a WR for the Titans or Jags is like counting on a RB for the Giants or Patriots. Sure they will have big games 3-4 times a season, but most likely they will ride your bench all season.Shipley has a ceiling of a Wes Welker type player, but will likely be another Austin Collie or Brandon Stokely
9/20/2010 10:51:06 AM
Snelling & Tolbert are on waivers this week. I have Jerome Harrison who hasn't done jack squat. Who should I pick up?Too early to drop Terrell Owens yet? (5pts. avg.) Demaryius Thomas & Josh Cribbs are on waivers, worth swapping out or keep the veteran T.O.?[Edited on September 20, 2010 at 11:06 AM. Reason : ,]
9/20/2010 11:03:32 AM
I feel like snelling, while he did well, will not be that big a part of the offense anymore- Turner is coming back (said he could have come back yesterday but since it was a blow out, they decided not to risk it), and Norwood- well he is norwood...I asked about this earlier, but got not response. I also don't believe that Mathews will be out for too long, so tolbert is riskyAnd I couldn't advocate anyone dropping TO, but that is just me[Edited on September 20, 2010 at 11:07 AM. 9/20/2010 11:05:21 AM
^,^^ I'd drop TO, Thomas will be better than Cribbs (unless you get points for return yards) but neither are that big of an upgrade. I'm still unsure about Snelling and Tolbert, hence the following question.^^^^ Nate will continue to be the #1 receiver for Tenn, of course that's like being the tallest midget. So my top 3 picks combined for 12 points (Turner, Matthews, Jennings) should I be worried or are these guys gonna step up and win me a few in the future? I kinda want to wait a few more weeks before opening up the trading block. Big names like those are great trade bait.ps I still won my matchup, thank you Jahvid Best
9/20/2010 11:16:56 AM
Have had two very putrid weeks, Brett Favre is killing me and yesterday I started Brandon Jackson over Jahvid Best and Greg Jennings over Randy Moss
9/20/2010 11:17:15 AM
1-3 last week.4-0 this week. need a replacement for Harrison & Owens I think though to give me some depth. i picked up V.Jackson in hopes he'll be playing week 6 or 7 it's just i need to make sure i can win the next 4 games until his return... i'll find out Weds. probably.[Edited on September 20, 2010 at 11:44 AM. So guys, tell me if this trade is worth it....A guy in my league has David Gerrard and Kevin Kolb for his QB's and isn't too happy and wanted to see if I would trade my backup QB, McNabb. (My starting QB is P.Riv)I could use some RB depth and saw he has Brandon Jackson he subs in and out, usually in his flex spot. Should I offer him McNabb for Jackson? My RB's are Pierre Thomas and AP
9/20/2010 1:04:38 PM
What do you think about this trade:I Get: Chris JohnsonI Give: Ray Rice, Caddilac Williams10 team, standard keeper league. 5 keepers. I have Brady, Moss, Colston, Ronnie Brown, Michael Turner...Have Jerome Harrison, McGahee, and Felix Jones on bench currently at RB.I think its a no-brainer...right?
9/20/2010 1:20:03 PM
^^ who can you get to be your backup for the bye week? Sounds like a pretty solid choice with your starters.^ This seems like a great trade for you, if this dude is dropping Johnson just because of the Steelers game he is an idiot, and you should take advantage of it.If I were in that league I would veto that trade in a heartbeat, btw.
9/20/2010 1:26:50 PM
I wish I was in a league that ignorant.
9/20/2010 1:43:44 PM
I made the offer because the guy basically has Chris Johnson and not much else...so I thought him trading CJ to me for several "good" players would work.I mean, he's starting CJ spiller at RB...so Caddilac Williams is a major upgrade, and Ray Rice isn't a giant step down from CJ....The team isn't all retards, but it isn't the elite either...I'm just picking on the ignorant guy that has CJ.Also, I'm of the opinion that trades shouldn't be vetoed unless there is suspicion of collusion or cheating.Does everyone veto trades that they just don't like or as strategy?
9/20/2010 3:14:05 PM
I think thats a pretty even trade, definitely not lopsided enough to make me want to veto it if it came up in my league. Ray Rice was someone a lot of experts were saying could be a top 1 or 2 pick in ppr leagues before the season started, add Cadillac in there and you make up the difference in value.you are winning the trade no doubt, but I definitely wouldnt say that "I would veto it in a heartbeat"and I only veto trades if I think there is cheating or collusion involved, or if someone isnt very experienced and is clearly losing out in the trade by a large margin. I wouldnt put this trade in either of those categories, anyone who vetoes this trade would do it because they are mad they didnt pull off a similar move[Edited on September 20, 2010 at 3:20 PM. 9/20/2010 3:18:50 PM
Vetoing is gay as fuck unless there is an egregious unbalance in the deal.Vetoing something just because one guy is getting a better deal in your opinion is dumb and one of the main reasons many leagues see so little trade activity, because selfish owners like yourself veto any deal that may benefit a team they're competing with. There's a reason real football doesn't allow teams to veto. I prefer to only play in leagues where the commish has sole veto power.
9/20/2010 3:22:36 PM
thank you Frank Gore, looks like I have a 4-0 week locked up in my 4 money leagues
9/20/2010 9:44:09 PM
lolz...I just noticed that I got 3 points from my punter in the MW2 league. Thanks hey now
9/20/2010 9:45:07 PM
allllright frank gore.
9/20/2010 9:46:31 PM
Is yahoo giving extra points this week to Tenn defense for anyone?
9/20/2010 9:49:53 PM
hey now's punter had one of his punts blockedwhat a chumpI hope the 49ers force a safety here and the game ends in a tie...then I'll beat hey now's team by even more points]
9/20/2010 9:50:37 PM
Its looking like this may be the last week i have Crabtree as a starting WR.....hurry back big ben, i need mike wallace to be able to produce
9/20/2010 9:53:36 PM
I lost in my small pot league by 1.5 pts... all because of a stupid throw away td by eli at the end of the game on sunday and because pittsburgh's defense went nutso (oh, and tony gonzalez is worthless in atlanta..)any TE's that might be on waiver that I could start looking at? he has gotten me a little over 4 pts- for the season (makes me really appreciate having D. Clark in my big money league)
9/21/2010 8:43:49 AM
Word on the street is that Reggie Bush broke a bone or two in his leg and is out at least 6-8 weeks.Won't know until they make it official, but if true, Pierre's value skyrockets, especially in PPR leagues.Make a trade for him if you can!
9/21/2010 8:59:50 AM
so we had yet another tie in our league this weekrather than have fractional points in the 10-team league, we have two teams that are 1-0-1 and two more teams that are 0-1-1
9/21/2010 9:16:39 AM
That's life in the TTMLTreeTwista Mongloid League
9/21/2010 9:19:08 AM
Also- the switch by Fox at QB could hurt the value of Steve Smith (son of a!), but help that of the gruesome twosome in the backfield
9/21/2010 9:19:11 AM
Maclin for Bradshaw an even trade in a PPR league? Not sure whether to veto this or not.
9/21/2010 9:24:37 AM
Close to enough to even that vetoing would be asinine
9/21/2010 9:25:42 AM
So my RBs are kaput after Grant got hurt(unable to get Jackson) and Greene has turned into a completely useless fantasy player(wish they'd just give LT(70% of the carries)).So the best RB option on waivers right now is Hillis(Cle). Is it worth dropping either Fred Taylor or Felix Jones for him?Taylor is at least a starter and will get plenty of touches when the Patriots are able to jump out to big leads(could be frequent) and Felix Jones could be a solid player if the Cowboys OL ever gets healthy.Thoughts? And yes I'm already looking into trades for better RBs.
9/21/2010 9:25:43 AM
Slave Famous, you do realize that you were one of the ties, right?
9/21/2010 9:33:50 AM
What to do with Shon Greene? I have him on two teams and am not playing him unless LT gets hurt or he goes off in a game. Should I drop him and keep a guy like Hightower or Kevin Walters or Cribbs or pickup a handcuff like Snelling? I hate carrying a guy on the bench that I cannot use because once bye weeks start, I am going to need to use these bench players.
9/21/2010 9:37:53 AM
haha, owned.
9/21/2010 9:38:32 AM
That is a free league with head coaches and punters as roster spotsYou're crazy if you think anyone actually cares about their team
9/21/2010 9:41:05 AM
Who should I start this week at my RB spot?Steven Jackson v WasJahvid Best v MinnBrandon Jackson v Chicago
9/21/2010 9:42:08 AM
I, too, would like to know what to do with Shonn Greene. I have him on my bench and he doesn't seem worth keeping.
9/21/2010 9:43:05 AM
^^You only have 1 rb spot with those running back? tough choice...and lol at a league with punters and head coaches- had no idea that was an option
9/21/2010 9:45:28 AM
I, three, have Shonn GreeneI'm just waiting on that inevitable injury to LT. He's made of glass so it's only a matter of time.
