I've probably tried match/okc 3-4 times over the last couple of years. I usually had like a 20% reply rate. The main thing that annoyed me was when women would actually reply and we'd message back and forth a few times and then they just stop replying and disappear.

The sounds evil, but I found out one night when I was bored that the easiest way to get replies is to be kind of mean/make fun of them, then they reply just as a reaction to defend themselves and we slowly get nicer to each other and start talking normally.

My roommate has gone to two stir events in the past. He tried getting me to go, but I said no because I thought they would be super awkward like in the match commercials. But he said both were not bad at all. They were just at bars where you could walk around and talk to people, no forced socializing, more relaxed.

Some girls want to play the game but I just messaged girls back as soon as I was able. If they were looking fora guy to ignore them and play that game I may as well eliminate myself quickly. My fiancé liked the fact I got back to her quickly. Based on info from all the girls I went out with if a girl is messaging you and then disappears it means she found someone better in the time it took you to get back to her and so she is seeing where that goes first. If it doesn't work out they may get back to you if you are then their top choice and it hasn't been too long.
