10/15/2008 2:34:39 PM

10/15/2008 2:38:16 PM
Ohh yeah i did see that chick doh!
10/15/2008 2:40:19 PM
10/15/2008 2:45:05 PM
bitch islyingno way it takes 3 months for her to come out with that if she actually saw her
10/15/2008 3:01:09 PM
She said she reported it to the CPD on three different occasions beginning the day after Nancy was reported missing. She has the business card of the detective she spoke with, and she left a telephone "statement." Read the affidavit, there's a lot more information than the article addresses.

10/27/2008 5:50:26 PM
Still innocent until proven guilty /devil's advocate
10/27/2008 5:51:40 PM
i just thought about this today.
10/27/2008 5:54:02 PM
oh, most definitely. all those duke lacrosse players were indicted, and look at how that turned out
10/27/2008 5:54:10 PM
Well that ends one debate and starts another... Five bucks says he get the death penalty.
10/27/2008 5:55:37 PM
guilty until proven innocent
10/27/2008 5:56:15 PM
^ pretty much. GO AMERICA.
10/27/2008 6:04:20 PM
im just very skeptical since it took this long to get a fuckin' indictment....
10/27/2008 6:22:02 PM
just arrested
10/27/2008 6:23:32 PM
^^ eve carson suspect just indicted today too. and no one is skeptical of that
10/27/2008 6:31:14 PM
He was indicted on Federal charges. They (the state, Orange Co.) want him to have the death penalty.
10/27/2008 6:32:16 PM
that was just for the federal charges on the eve carson thing[Edited on October 27, 2008 at 6:32 PM. Reason : yeah, what ^ said]
10/27/2008 6:32:30 PM
doesn't matter. its still an indictment that took a long timedurrrrrr
10/27/2008 6:33:17 PM
little different when they were already charged by the state
10/27/2008 6:33:47 PM
Only becasue the Bureaucratic wheels of the Law and Justice can roll slow at times, just becasue it can.
10/27/2008 6:34:23 PM
I wonder what type of evidence they have? I mean if they had good stuff you think he would have been indicted a month or two ago...
10/27/2008 6:34:51 PM
that and the CPD still has training wheels on[Edited on October 27, 2008 at 6:35 PM. Reason : ^my initial point][Edited on October 27, 2008 at 6:36 PM. Reason : im good speller]
10/27/2008 6:35:10 PM
ohhh i see. we only like when things happen fast, mike nifong style.
10/27/2008 6:35:24 PM
you got it
10/27/2008 6:35:47 PM
Basically they have the mentality, 'we can't let him get away with this, so we must create him a criminal record at the very least to make life miserable for him'.
10/27/2008 6:36:13 PM
I wonder when was the last time CPD dealt with a murder investigation?
10/27/2008 6:36:44 PM
When that lady side-swiped bout 50-11 geese and tried to get away with it.
10/27/2008 6:37:35 PM
all i am trying to illustrate is just because he got indicted doesn't mean he's guilty. but just because it took awhile doesn't mean he isn't guilty. i don't even think a few months is that out of the ordinary for an indictment. and especially in potential spousal murder cases? i mean think about how much harder it is to collect evidence. what---you go looking for his finger prints in the house? OH WAIT, he lived there. his hair, prints, etc are probably everywhere. not exactly easy peasy lemon squeezy. plus there are other hurdles as well, i'm sure. i'm not saying that CPD didn't fuck up, i'm just saying it IS POSSIBLE that they didn't.
10/27/2008 6:57:18 PM
FREE BRAD COOPER
10/27/2008 7:00:58 PM
FROOPER! just kidding, that joker is guilty as sin. burn him at the stake.
10/27/2008 7:05:15 PM
Indictments don't mean shit. if it took them this long to indict him, they don't have shit.and honestly, the affidavit of the woman who said she told the police THREE TIMES that she saw her running the day she went missing is pretty damning for CPD - they ignored testimony to go on a witch hunt because they don't have any other leads. That is the definition of complete ineptitude.
10/27/2008 7:12:15 PM
holllla just found a DOJ study on average length of indictment in spousal murder cases. 4 months.granted it was the US DOJAND it was published in 1995 (so evidence from the 80s)and it dealt with "large urban counties" --- and the 75 largest counties in the US. which i don't think Wake is (or maybe it is who really knows i didn't look that shit up). but besides all the things that aren't relevant, it just shows things CAN take awhile.but i'm just saying. this is not an episode of law and order people. we cannot have a murder, charge, indictment, conviction, sentence, appeal, RESULT all in 45 minutes. i spent a large part of saturday listening to the story of a man who was wrongfully convicted and in prison for 18.5 years. i'd rather things go SLOW and be correct. not that going slow means they're anymore correct. but it is a little more reassuring i guess...maybe? well whatev...when you have a jury trial you're probably better off going with the the cuter lawyer over the qualified lawyer anyway.
10/27/2008 7:13:19 PM
guilty asshit
10/27/2008 8:16:56 PM
innocent till proven guilty.
10/27/2008 9:37:33 PM
i wonder how they'll pick jurors. hopefully they won't get anyone from this thread, its so polarized as it is. if any indication of the area at large then picking a jury will be hard.personally, i still don't think it was him and i don't think this indictment means a thing. i think they just went ahead and did it because they were getting pressured due to the most recent hearing with his daughters/in-laws. someone probably told the CPD to shit or get off the pot.
10/27/2008 10:23:06 PM
that's what I'm thinking.
10/27/2008 11:38:17 PM

10/27/2008 11:57:49 PM
