how many of you are going to cry yourself to sleep tonight because eli made it to the super bowl before rivers?
1/20/2008 10:16:58 PM
i'd rather eli win the superbowl than tom brady
1/20/2008 10:17:23 PM
giants played better imo, i think they match up better against the pats also.
1/20/2008 10:18:25 PM
only thing i can think about is i def. don't want the patriots to winbut if Eli wins, then all we will hear about is how the Giants got the best of the deal in the draft tradeUGH
1/20/2008 10:18:53 PM
^^ not as though either one of them performed that well tonight. the quarterback class of 04 is looking pretty good though
1/20/2008 10:19:01 PM
ive never seen tom coughlin look happy beforeand when he does, he looks 10 yrs older and clueless like a man in a retirement home
1/20/2008 10:19:38 PM
the giants played pretty well, especially considering the conditionsthe packers played like complete and total ass in every facet of the game and deserved to losethe better team won todayeli manning is a faggot
1/20/2008 10:20:27 PM
good think the northeast market is big, because outside of that I doubt anyone cares about either of these teams...
1/20/2008 10:23:06 PM
Fuck the Giants.....A great run for the Packers.... again Fuck the Giants
1/20/2008 10:23:34 PM
those guys are never gonna let coughlin hold the damn trophy
1/20/2008 10:23:55 PM
1/20/2008 10:24:03 PM
i find it funny that terry bradshaw is interviewing coughlin, when bradshaw a couple yrs ago called him a jerk in the studio lol
1/20/2008 10:25:02 PM
We couldn't stop their passing game....That is the worst game I have seen the packers play in 2 years. favre looked like he was done after the hafetime. Oh well....on to next year....
1/20/2008 10:25:33 PM
LOLOLOL that you think Brett will be back. Wonder how good that aaron rodgers kid is.
1/20/2008 10:27:55 PM
wait so did don majkowski leave?
1/20/2008 10:37:47 PM
Why wouldn't he be back ? He was one of the top 5 QB's in the whole NFL this year ! He will be back.
1/20/2008 10:55:54 PM
eh, I say he's gone. And how about Rivers' draft class#1 Eli Manning - going to 08 Super Bowl#4 Philip Rivers - gone to the 08 AFC Championship#17(?) Ben Roethlisberger - 06 Super Bowl WinnerIf Eli wins (which he won't), Rivers will be the odd man out.

110% sure that fans of every college team do this.[Edited on January 20, 2008 at 11:27 PM. Reason : ]

Actually its a little worse with NCSU fans. Its like you guys are obsessed with him, and he is the only thing worth cheering for because he doesn't totally suck. Fans of other teams root for alumni, but it seems you guys care more about Rivers than you do your own schools sports.Or perhaps its because NCSU doesn't have as many good players in pro sports as most universities, so all your devotion to alumni is limited to mainly him and Mario.I think its probably a combination of both.

Jaybee does the same damn thing with Manning.I'm sure you would with directional georgia community college, if they had a team.[Edited on January 20, 2008 at 11:44 PM. Reason : ]

So they're all big Rams and Cardinals fans?KRob plays for the Packers; must all be huge Packers fans.Locklear, the Seahawks. Hoyte, the Cowboys. Cotchery, the Jets. etc.
1/20/2008 11:45:51 PM
i pull for them indiviuallyand I pull for priv when he plays because I want them to do well
1/20/2008 11:47:35 PM
^^ Rivers was the leader of our team for 4 years, I'm of course going to follow him more closely than the others.Plus, I want all those guys to be considered great individually, but the nature of the game today, for whatever reason, QB is the one position where a player can't be individually outstanding on a poor team and still be considered great, his team has to win. When talking about the greatest running backs and defensive linemen of all time, number of superbowl wins don't seem to matter as much as they do with QB's for some reason.[Edited on January 20, 2008 at 11:55 PM.
