hibbert is not what we want. we don't need a Okafor clone with a few more inches of height. we need a star. An uber-athletic PF or a big PG who can play the position full time would be nice.
2/24/2008 11:37:27 AM
the sonics will draft hibbert. seems like somebody they woud like.I really think we need a pg. I'm not sold on Felton being anything but a good back up pg in the league. he's a great change of pace point guard. would be a perfect sixth man. But like I said, I don't think we should pay any attention to position. If I could have anybody it would be Beasley, Rose or Mayo. (duh) but Mayo and Beasley supposedly have character issues and we like to draft "good guys"
2/24/2008 1:48:59 PM
We need to draft a thug type player to give everyone a kick in the assOkafor, Felton, Morrison, May...we need someone with an attitude and a chip on their shoulderOur team is too fucking nice
2/24/2008 1:52:25 PM
Your too nice...im gonna make you baaaadd.... [/bill lambier in grant hill sprite commercial]
2/24/2008 2:44:33 PM
sorryYOU'RE
2/24/2008 7:15:38 PM
I fucking lol'd
2/25/2008 10:35:42 AM
he actually looked decent yesterday... i think he scored 11 points on 5/5 shooting and 1/1 FT...best game of the season...now he'll fall the fuck off as usual
2/25/2008 10:56:10 AM
Yeah I bet all the Raptors fans are like "Man, this guys a baller" like we were for a while in that first season whenever he was putting up 15 and 8. I can't wait till the playoffs whenever he's regulated to being a 7 foot cheerleader.
2/25/2008 11:00:36 AM
i told some people on a raptors yahoo board that he was the worst player in the league (like i did on a pistons board a month ago)...they were certainly optimistic based on his game yesterday but i think he played the game of his career yesterdayalso i heard those knocks against sam vincent in another article...funny stuff...primoz is gangsta as hella canadian perspective:
2/25/2008 11:16:03 AM
Oh shit...Raptors coming in March 2ndDefinitley trying to get some seats behind their bench for that gameAnd by that point he Bobcats will probably be well out of the running for the playoffs, so tickets will be dirt cheap
2/25/2008 11:25:12 AM
March 2nd (Sunday) at 6pmMarch 31 (Monday) at 7pmPrimoz returns two more timesI'll have to come up with something fresher than my comment to him at the last Pistons game of "Hey Primoz...its good to see you....in another team's uniform"
2/25/2008 12:14:23 PM
Yeah I'm thinking of sporting a black eye and a headband...it would be a cool as shit if we could get a bunch of people on board with that
2/25/2008 1:24:27 PM
Wallace out "indefinitely"going to a neurosurgeon for a series of neural tests this week, after the tests the team will give a timeline for his expected returnsounds like he's still pretty fucked up...said he had soreness in the jaw and neck this past weekend
2/25/2008 4:28:07 PM
yeah here's the espn article:http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3264283here's to hoping it's not as bad as it sounds, but it does sound bad. 4 concussions in 4 years is rough.this is not what gerald or the franchise needs. fuck.

2/25/2008 5:55:19 PM
this is like watching a college basketball game when we are on offense
2/29/2008 7:57:45 PM
Bobcats did waive McInnis today, so this loss wont seem quite as bad.[Edited on February 29, 2008 at 9:16 PM. Reason : .]

Beasley is clear cut the #1 pick.Rose is pretty blah 4.4 ast, 3.0 turnovers? Poor shooter and terrible FT. I wouldn't even take him in the lottery. He's young and tall but he also plays poor competition and surrounded by mad talent. No way we want this guy.Mayo? Hell no. He's a poor man's Jamal Crawford. He's a 20 year old freshman and he has a negative ast/turnover ratio. He's a project, we need someone who is ready to play.I like Blake Griffin and Kevin Love. They fit our needs well and translate to solid pro players.
3/1/2008 1:42:36 PM
If we're going to go PG Bayless will be better at the next level than Rose

3/5/2008 12:42:32 PM
we can dream cant we
3/5/2008 12:45:06 PM
they played that song on the Packman show yesterday and the Hitman was jocking the hell out of it acting like he loved the song
3/5/2008 12:45:41 PM
I'd play 1000 bucks to see the dude sing that song at halftime tonight
3/5/2008 12:47:59 PM
apparently there was some contest before the Lakers game a few weeks back where you could make a song to win tickets and that was the winner
3/5/2008 12:53:23 PM
Beat the Warriors 118-109. J-Rich 42 pts 7 rebFelton 22 pts 6 astDudley 10 pts 18 reb
3/5/2008 9:37:01 PM
Damn Dudley. I mean damn.Gotta be sweet for j rich. Is wright still is the d-league?
3/5/2008 9:52:58 PM
Nah, he played tonight, scored 5 or 6 pts i think.
3/5/2008 9:55:56 PM
Yep, just saw that. And he got the start. 42pts > 6pts
3/5/2008 9:58:50 PM
I know Monta's good, but come on Jared, at least act like you're trying to guard a motherfuckerYou had 18 rebounds tho, so I'll let it slide
3/6/2008 9:56:33 AM
considering we drafted both Wright and Dudley, it was a no-brainer who had the better game last night...Jared had a huge double double, while Branden sucked ass and needs to hit the weights
3/6/2008 10:52:42 AM
4 wins in a row with the win over Atlanta tonightfuck it, now I'm back on the thoughts that we might make the playoffswtf
3/7/2008 10:03:16 PM
^ Beat me to it.Beat Atlanta 108-93 tonight.Thats our 4th straight win, and before play started tonight we were only 4 games out of 8th. (3.5 out as of 10:06 pm)J-Rich 13 ptsFelton 23 pts 11 astCarroll 21 ptsOkafor 16 pts 15 rebDudley 13 pts 8 reb 4 stl[Edited on March 7, 2008 at 10:07 PM. Reason : .]
3/7/2008 10:05:19 PM
we hit buzzer beating 3's in both the 2nd and 3rd quarters...pretty good atmosphere in the arena tonight as well...next home game isnt for 15 more days though got the ACC and NCAA tourneys in there
3/7/2008 10:06:22 PM
Its tempting it really it isBut im pretty sure the upcoming road trip will squash those thoughts once and for all10 out of the next 11 on the roadon[Edited on March 7, 2008 at 10:07 PM. Reason : now only 3 games out of 8 with New Jersey losing....still its a 2 percent chance]
3/7/2008 10:06:38 PM
yea its a long shot, but its fun having it even be a consideration at this point of the season, especially considering how down and out they were just like a week and a half ago.
3/7/2008 10:09:19 PM
Looks like cutting Jeff McInnis was the greatest move in Bobcats history. I just don't know why he was ever in the starting lineup, or the roster to begin with.
3/7/2008 11:44:11 PM
about to win their 5th straight for the first time ever
3/8/2008 9:19:08 PM
You may have spoke to soon.
3/8/2008 9:30:15 PM
espn's bottom line liedit said :34 sec left in the 4th earlier
3/8/2008 9:32:58 PM
that was probably right.
3/8/2008 9:33:36 PM
Well they won, although it took forever.
3/8/2008 9:36:32 PM
J-Rich 34 pts 8 reb 3 ast 4 stlFelton 14 pts 12 ast 6 rebCarroll 23 pts 4 reb2 and 1/2 out and New Jersey is losing by 18 to Dallas at the half, so we have a good chance of being 2 games out of 8th after tonight.
