I have yet to see one white girl in Lithia Springs. But I have seen some fine ass black girls.
8/9/2013 4:08:48 PM
moving from smyrna to sandy springs in a week - renting my place out and renting a house up there my company moved the office while i was in australia - the new place is 1.4 miles from my office
8/9/2013 10:03:57 PM
Is there a difference?
8/19/2013 1:00:58 PM
my commute went from 1hr each way to 7 minutes - huge change for me marta is close by now if i want to make it in to town - won't use it too much i'm sure but do have tix to music midtown so will get some use out of it
8/19/2013 8:39:30 PM
haha, no I meant for your work... just seems like an odd move unless they had some great deal on the new building. Its like moving from Suwanee to Duluth haha. Which is actually what my company did now that I think about it
8/20/2013 11:42:59 AM
when i started a bit over 4 years ago we had less than 50 peoplewe have about 1300 nowthere is a bit of a difference
8/20/2013 10:32:26 PM
well yeah, I could see a new building, but I meant more the city to city move, seems pretty lateral.
8/21/2013 9:32:48 AM
man, these festivals just keep on coming... my poor liver
9/17/2013 9:45:55 AM
i'll be down at MM for the saturday session - plan to be there in time for weezer
9/17/2013 4:06:45 PM
think I may skip this year, dont really like the lineup at all and I'm not getting in free like last year haha
9/17/2013 6:52:19 PM
glad i work 1.4 miles from home today
1/28/2014 4:08:21 PM
My dad just drove 17 hours to get home from all that crazy Atlanta traffic last night. He lives 45 minutes away typically. Those roads are CRAZY!!!!
1/29/2014 7:01:14 AM
so what's good in atlanta these days? any area within a mile of MARTA that I could get a house with a garage (preferably 2-3 car) for <400K? I'd rather not drop big cash in atlanta right now
3/11/2014 9:22:36 PM
^ hmmm, i think you'd be lookin' at the southside or somewhere transitional on the eastside for that. may be a renovation opportunity somewhere near Candler Park or East Lake.
3/13/2014 8:13:24 AM
yeah, a house with a three car garage ITP is going to cost you a shit ton. Why do you need such a bigass garage? It's your decision of course but that will SEVERELY limit your options.Awesome weather lately, just had to take some pics from my condo/building[Edited on April 7, 2014 at 10:48 AM. Reason : d]
4/7/2014 10:46:45 AM

4/7/2014 10:59:12 AM

I work to fund my hobbies, which are car and motorcycle racing. I currently have an RV where I store my 3 motorcycles, my car, and my gf's car. When I move, I won't have a commute so I'll probably switch to truck and trailer, and a race car. I also am not a huge fan of condo living. I do it now and I miss having my own space and not wasting $7200/yr in HoA
4/7/2014 11:30:14 AM
That's the most giant RV I have ever heard of haha, jesus christ. It can fit two cars inside it??And my HOA is about $3600 a year and definitely not a waste by any means. Includes insurance, internet, water, sewer, garbage, gym, pool, grill, home theater, maintenance, concierge, landscaping etc. But to each his own, I loathe shit like yard work and working on shit around the house, and definitely dont mind paying for convenience, but if you are into that stuff I guess you could view it as a "waste". I had the whole big ass house (3 floors, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, big ass yard etc.) in Raleigh and I was fucking miserable. I finally saw the light of day when I caught myself buying furniture not because I needed it but because I "had a room to fill". When I sold it and moved down here in threw in 90% of it in with with my sale price to the new owners. Most liberating day of my life haha. [Edited on April 7, 2014 at 11:44 AM. Reason : f]
4/7/2014 11:40:18 AM
oh, i can see my poor punctuation. the RV holds 3 motorcycles, it's 32 feet long. my condo in dc i still pay for insurance and don't use any of the facilities besides parking. the fact that i don't get any equity or tax write off for the HoA is what pisses me off
4/7/2014 1:03:48 PM
insane turn out at the Dogwood Festival this year. I think everyone was so tired of the long winter that they just went apeshit. The doggie olympics were awesome.
4/13/2014 7:57:03 PM
was out there today from 11-4 - beautiful day
4/13/2014 10:03:15 PM

5/2/2014 6:42:21 PM
Congrats! Explored Piedmont Park yet?
5/3/2014 9:54:21 AM
yeah, I ate at that southwest place a couple nights ago. I can't wait to get another dog but this new job might not allow it. I travel a LOT
5/3/2014 10:05:52 AM
let me know if you want a tour of various places and shit... plus got a group that does trivia every Thursday if you are into that shit
5/5/2014 3:49:15 PM

5/5/2014 8:45:22 PM
Was in Atlanta the other weekend visiting a hometown friend of my wife's and here are some thoughts:- Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream is fucking delicious- Monday Night Brewery is a cool spot and makes some yummy IPAs- Star Provisions is great (and that whole little area)- West Egg is overrated...worst meal we had the whole weekend- The AMC movie theater at Phipps Plaza is fucking phenomenal...that's all
5/21/2014 12:10:16 PM
^^ trivia tonight at 8^ hit up some decent places... at least you didnt come here and go to the fucking Cheesecake Factory or something
5/22/2014 4:15:36 PM

5/22/2014 5:11:03 PM
we are doing the room escape, but not a big Walking Dead fan so no on the second
5/22/2014 7:22:41 PM
^^^ I came away with some respect for Atlanta after the weekend. While not my preferred choice, I could definitely live there and enjoy it.
5/22/2014 7:36:01 PM
won't be in ATL until june and 2.5 weeks of the month I'll be traveling
5/22/2014 7:45:41 PM
^ oh word, didnt know that^^ actual Atlanta, as in the actual city of Atlanta, is freaking awesome. Amazing restaurant scene, great art scene, very walkable, great bars, and Piedmont Park is the shit, but so many people come to "Atlanta" and are really out in the burbs which could pretty much be anywhere else in the country, nothing special.
5/28/2014 10:19:05 AM
This weekend in Atlanta...-Went to the Renaissance Faire at Fairburn, really neat. -Went to a comedy show at "Uptown". Typical black comedy, but some laughs were had. -Ate dinner at Izumi in Woodstock. Portion sizes.... Food was awesome though!-Also, had "The Burger" at Holeman and Finch....WORTH IT!
6/9/2014 5:15:01 PM
the burger is definitely awesome. But what were you doing all the way up in Woodstock? That's a haul
6/11/2014 9:42:05 AM
my parents took us to these places. dad works for the CDC there, so we visit from time to time.
6/11/2014 10:44:43 AM
6/11/2014 11:52:26 AM
when I said the actual city of Atlanta I meant the actual city. Which includes downtown, which is pretty meh (a lot of this due to awful architecture which destroyed any street life, led to crime issues, etc) and is basically just used for conventions now. But it is on the upswing. Other areas that are in the city but are technically not "downtown" are awesome, such as Midtown, the Highlands, Inman Park, West End, etc. All the places you mentioned are in the city but are not "downtown".
6/11/2014 11:58:48 AM
Word.
6/12/2014 10:13:57 AM
and outside the city there are plenty of "nice" places... but they are just so god damn generic and boring
