5/28/2006 11:56:59 PM
I still can't believe how many people have wandered into this thread since the ECF started.Oh wait, I can.*simultaneous sigh and smile*
5/28/2006 11:57:35 PM
What's so funny?
5/29/2006 12:02:31 AM
most of the people on sabresfans.com are throwing in the towelhere's one little gem that echos many others:
5/29/2006 12:04:14 AM
you can get Sam Adams Light at Total Wine in cary
5/29/2006 12:05:32 AM
5/29/2006 12:08:40 AM
Then get a job and quit your bitchin'
5/29/2006 12:10:51 AM
what a dick
5/29/2006 12:16:51 AM
I have a job. I spend thousands of dollars on the team per year.Buffalo's owner cares about his season ticket base.Carolina's does not.I'm really glad that people who don't normally go to games were at this one. There were great saves, great goals, and great hits, and there's no changing that, even if the person has never cared about the Canes before. I think there's more to appreciate, however, when you've sat through a positively dismal 3-0 loss to PHOENIX on a cold Sunday in January. It's the same story as anything else that gets popular in a hurry, just kinda sad.[/emo]

5/29/2006 12:21:39 AM
Another $70 is $50 more than the same seat in Buffalo, for one thing. That's all I'm gonna say about that, or this is going to turn into a pissing contest about Ken Dryden and the Bruins' bad change. The pass that Weight made to Recchi is worth 100% of the salary chunk we paid him.
5/29/2006 12:22:57 AM
Psh. If you don't have a season ticket plan then the tickets are $100 a pop up north. Don't start calling someone a bandwagoner while you are sitting at home posting on tww glancing at the tv from time to time.
5/29/2006 12:28:58 AM
Except I do have two full season ticket packages, so if I was in Buffalo, the tickets would be $20. Like I said, we can have a pissing match about Mike Fountain, Gretz fighting in Greensboro, and rotation on pinch forechecking if you really want to, but I'm not in the mood.[Edited on May 29, 2006 at 12:38 AM. 5/29/2006 12:36:14 AM
^to get into a buffalo game would cost a fucking tonfor game 6 right now on stubhub the tickets are from 100-900 bucks, nothing cheap there, only other way to get tickets is to be a season ticket holder up there, owner said he could have sold 50k more tickets to each gameif you were a season ticket holder, and bought the whole plan here, you got a deal toovindy, this is PRO sports, go check NBA ticket prices, look at nfl playoff/superbowl tickets, and world series tickets and shut the fuck up, this is big time pro sports, happens once every 5 years if we are lucky, time to pay the piper if you wanna watch, or just fire up the TV an quit your bitching
5/29/2006 12:39:46 AM
I'm not saying it's overpriced, and I'm not saying that it's not worth it.I'm saying that PK shit on his season ticket holders.
5/29/2006 12:42:31 AM
So the 20% discount he gave you wasn't good enough. You have to have 80%?
5/29/2006 12:43:05 AM
I'd just like it if he acknowledged the fact that he held millions of dollars hostage for a year. For the record, I wasn't accusing anyone here of being a bandwagoner. It's a fact, though, that the people who were in my seats tonight weren't there for any other game this season. So those people are, most likely, bandwagoners.[Edited on May 29, 2006 at 12:47 AM.
