I took my pugs on a ten-minute walk and lifted some free weights in front of the television. Pretty good for me.

^does it have a Presta valve or a Schrader valve? My rims only take Presta. Hell, they ain't that expensive, anyway. I've just been so damn busy lately that I haven't had any time to do anything about it. You wouldn't believe the exercise I get running around at work!

lifted: arms

3 sets hammer strength tricep extension
3 sets overhead rope extensions
3 sets one-arm cable extensions (palm up)

3 sets hammer strength bicep curl
3 sets reverse grip barbell curl
3 sets hammer curls on preacher bench

1 set forearm extensions
1 set forearm curls

like 3 sets of 15 reps of lat pull
prolly 3 sets of seated rows
prolly 3 sets of barbell rows
prolly 3 sets of shrugs

i'm a big fan of 3 sets per exercise

Saturday: ran 3 miles around Green Lake in Seattle

then shoulder workout:

4 sets side dumbell raises
4 sets dumbell shoulder press
4 sets front dumbell raises
4 sets upright cable rows

then 3 sets on ab crunch machine, then 2 sets on ab oblique rotation

Around 6 or 7 I am going to run about 6.5 miles.
I think I am going to try to run 5Ks this fall.. I am really gonna get into training...

Start swimming again this week
Cut back on my chocolate intake ( I need to loose like 10 lbs)

around my ideal weight, I was about a C, so I hope they wouldn't shrink more than that if I lose all the weight I want to lose

warmup on flat bench

then 4 sets flat bench (barbell)
4 sets incline press machine (a good one...most of them suck)
4 sets decline cable crossovers
5 sets pec flyes (3 on one machine, 2 on another)

friday, 9 miles on the elliptical in 1 hour, then 10 sets of 32 on bi's and tri's


saturday, 3.1 miles in 21 minutes, and 16 sets of 32 on legs
10 sets of 32 with 155 lbs, leg press
2 sets of 32 with 70 lbs, adductors and abductors
2 sets of 32 with 50 lbs, extensions and curls
2 sets of 32 with 110 lbs, calf raises


sunday, basketball and volleyball, 2.5 hrs


monday, basketball league game and chest
3 sets of 32 with 65 lbs, flat bench barbell
3 sets of 32 with 55 lbs, inclined bench barbell
4 sets of 32 with 85 lbs, declined bench barbell

just realized yesterday how much weight i've gained in the past 6 months - year. I guess the my mid-20s metabolism slowdown has begun. i need to start working out again. and oh did i pick the right week to make this realization.

Here's my new workout regimen, I suggest you follow it for results:

5k A Day

I'm running 3 miles each day, for a total of 21 miles a week. I'm going to do it for a month and see what the results are.

Which is more beneficial, running on the treadmill or on the ground? I prefer the ground b/c I feel like I am working harder.
