9/1/2006 9:27:16 AM
Ernest Jones - OutLuke Lathan - DoubtfulLamart Barrett - QuestionableLooks like we'll be 2 down on offense and 1 down on defense, hopefully won't make a big deal but I was hoping to see Barrett on the field.

how much has it rained in raleigh, is it raining right nowsaid on weather.com that we got 1/2 an inch yesterday, and has t-storms up until the game in the forecast, but from the radar it looks like raleigh is mostly in the clear/storm missed
9/1/2006 11:43:18 AM
it rained, but nothing really serious. tomorrow afternoon's weather will be great.and it's raining just enough to turn your windshield wipers on every couple of minutes.[Edited on September 1, 2006 at 11:44 AM. Reason : 3]
9/1/2006 11:44:01 AM
thanksseems like the 6-8 inchs missed the oak city
9/1/2006 11:47:20 AM
What happened to Barrett?Maybe not for this game, but he is going to have to be the senior leader this year on offense.
9/1/2006 12:24:34 PM

Barrett has a strained hamstring
9/1/2006 12:38:00 PM
^^^ Who made that video? That may be the best wolfpack football video I've ever seen.God-damn! I can't wait for tomorrow![Edited on September 1, 2006 at 12:39 PM. Reason : .]
9/1/2006 12:39:47 PM
video was solid
9/1/2006 12:44:40 PM
some guy on PP made the vid.
9/1/2006 12:45:19 PM
Lamart will not play tomorrow....per Lamart
9/1/2006 12:46:27 PM
That sucks.Dunlap and Blackman now have to carry just about ALL of the load at WR.And with Stone throwing, it is a LOAD to catch his passes.
9/1/2006 12:49:10 PM
^why would hehope he heals up, no need to worry about App state, and if the game is close because of no Barrett, then we have much larger problems
9/1/2006 12:49:25 PM
^^^that's all good. i'd rather he not play against little old App and get healthy for the tougher games. i wish him a speedy recovery. strained muscles suck, b/c even though you can function, you're nowhere near what you could be, especially speed wise if it's any muscle involved with leg movement. i would get strained groin, calf, etc. muscles every now and then while playing hockey (probably due to ineffective stretching), and trying to get a burst of speed to try and catch a guy on a break away was nearly impossible. 9/1/2006 12:52:18 PM
well, hopefully our O-line will manhandle 'em, so we can just run all game
9/1/2006 12:52:28 PM
^ think that's the way it will play out.
9/1/2006 12:53:53 PM
now i know some might not like this idea, but perhaps we should take notes from Mississippi State and bring in some Cowbells to help make it even louder. i mean i know that artificial noisemakers aren't allowed, but who would stop us from bringing them in if we hid them? and yeah i know it might make us look like a bunch of rednecks, but i know i'm nowhere near a redneck, but would gladly ring a cowbell if it helped my team win. if we have to go through metal detectors all we have to do is hide it in our jacket. i've brought in banned items that way, i just hold the jacket out all balled up in my hand away from my body and pretend that it's my belt/watch, etc.
9/1/2006 1:46:31 PM
they have been bringing cowbells for decadesnot really a good tradition to start in 2006...would just look cheesy
9/1/2006 2:13:03 PM
well then maybe some other traditions? like throwing squids out on the field like the red wings?
9/1/2006 2:16:21 PM
^^ true. but if anyone should bring cowbells, it should be us (along with some other schools of course)[Edited on September 1, 2006 at 2:16 PM. Reason : ^^]
9/1/2006 2:16:23 PM
if our power and speed and athleticism isnt enough to beat App State and we need cowbells...we are in big trouble
9/1/2006 2:19:42 PM
i didn't mean hey let's bring cowbells to the App. State game b/c i think that it will be a tough game. i meant hey let's make C-F an even tougher place to play.
9/1/2006 2:50:47 PM
Lathan is outthats not goodwell it says doubtful, i hope he plays though, we need that kid
9/1/2006 2:53:45 PM
well the field is probobly gonna be wet unless we have a great drain system. i don't know what the guy ^texas is talking about. we got drenched with 3-4 inches of rain and it drizzled all day today (not allowing any to evap).at least the game is late tommorow so we should get some sun on the field before kickoff.
9/1/2006 2:53:59 PM
nice videocoulda had some more like GET HYPED part but well done, well doneseeing Baker and Brown run make me excited, the kids just have pure power, its incrediblegotta love that Brown play pushin the FSU kid down
