6/23/2006 2:49:58 PM
What?
6/23/2006 2:51:37 PM
that's in reference to the gmail picture above. karen scott is the sender. its a survey thing where you get 5 bucks per survey completed.
6/23/2006 3:05:30 PM

meh. batteries ran out, but i was able to catch these two at work before it died. much better pics to come!oh, here's some from my cousin's hs graduation. forgot to charge the batteries prior to that occasion too...so only snapped a couple.this one came out weird. i guess i should've adjusted the white balance. 6/23/2006 8:36:31 PM
^^what did you do to that picture...stuff seems out of focus that shouldn't be... like the top of the hat and such.
6/23/2006 8:40:49 PM
yeah...focus was all weird and did a lil photochopping. blur tool wasn't done precisely, but I had to get it on the web within 15 mins of taking it, so i did it really fast. i guess i'll get around to fixing it later.

Hey, I'm really liking the photos and all the links. Here are a few of mine. I bought a Rebel XT a few weeks ago and picked up a Canon 70-200 f/4L. I shoot mostly BMX but I threw in a few 'artsy' pics. Let me know what you think.iso 200, 1/1000, f/4iso 200, 1/1000, f/4Johnson Pond road last WednesdayLittle girl at the BMX track[Edited on June 23, 2006 at 11:00 PM. Reason : asdgf]

6/24/2006 9:44:25 AM
^^that's pretty hot. I was trying to think of anything like that around our desk you guys make me want to get an SLR so badly
6/24/2006 10:15:17 AM
I dunno how to make this not so yellow - it might have been kickass otherwise. This was one shot with the "cloudy" setting, but other photos shot with the flourescent and flourescent H came out similarly colored. It was at the entrance to a parking deck.
6/24/2006 10:27:55 AM
sometimes you can kill yellow with incandesent whitebalance...or photoshop
6/24/2006 10:42:13 AM
Photoshop, selective color.
6/24/2006 10:42:30 AM

photoshop, levels, click middle eyedropper, click neutral colored concrete, done. but I did do a mid-point exposure correction after that. [Edited on June 24, 2006 at 11:17 AM. Reason : ]

^^^I do adore.Still working on getting photoshop. For the time being, there's no processing going on If I have shots that are important enough, I'll go to the DML, but for still learning the camera...yeah Thank you all for all the help
6/24/2006 12:13:41 PM
you could try getting GIMP. it's got a lot of the same functionality as photoshop, but it's completely free.
6/24/2006 12:15:27 PM
graci - this thread has been one of the best in a while and thought i'd add something as well

6/25/2006 10:02:39 PM

6/25/2006 10:05:11 PM
