i think she was just commenting on how it falls in April in general (as a "winter" sport, having the championship when it is warming up)


kinda like baseball when it is starting to get cold (and football when half the country is covered in snow)

but I'd rather have that and longer seasons!

well a lot of what bugs me is the advertising regarding the "finals" in each sport. "Hunt for october" for baseball is now going into November, "March Madness" is not just in March.

I don't mind longer seasons (though the NBA's is just absurdly long imo), and I definitely don't mind overlap of sports. I just feel like every year, each sport is adding another week or so onto their season. At this rate, all major sports are going to be year round.

I prefer having my hockey and basketball in the winter, baseball in spring/summer, and football in the fall/winter.
