3/27/2011 8:52:27 PM

3/27/2011 8:59:02 PM
kadwack don't forget to add in the price for the cut & blow dry! i would always forget to total it all and was like DAMN when i got the bill, but im in denial about how much i spend on my hair

Salon Moxie ftw. Get Jenna Emory, she is THE best.http://www.salon-moxie.com/index.htmlprices are reasonable and the salon is great. Full color begins at $82 - I assume it increase based on the level of the designer. She just got promoted too.

I have pretty dark brown hair, but when I wanted a change to auburn, similiar to yourself, I didn't go with an all over color. I actually asked my stylist to do a halo highlight with the auburn. It came out pretty great.I have some natural redheads in my family way back, so I guess I looked like a natural red head with the highlights. I got called out at a Jiffy Lube (they were trying to upsell all sorts of crap) and I got mean with them. That's when they were like, "Woooah, calm down Red - seeing that temper of yours!"
3/28/2011 11:57:30 AM
The Mahogany shade is pretty. but I stopped dying my hair less than a year ago. Embracing my natural color plus no touch ups and healthier hair!
3/28/2011 12:19:44 PM
you're lucky. i have too much gray to go "natural." plus i hate my red hair - it doesn't look natural against my skin tone.
3/28/2011 12:28:23 PM
3/28/2011 1:35:59 PM
^^embrace that gray girl...i do!i also look like a skunk, though, so i can understand why most girls wouldn't be too thrilled with that
3/28/2011 1:57:00 PM
oh i got my share of white hairs b/c i am mixed.
3/28/2011 2:23:08 PM
^^^ was she not AWESOME? She can do anything to my hair and make it look stellar. I trust her 100%. Not to mention we've been friends from birth, and our mothers are bff haha.

I got my hair chopped off recently and the lady who did it had those feathers in her hair - at first I was like "wtf?" and then I read about them in this thread. I went to Vent in Durham and Kristie (the owner) did it. It just opened so the prices aren't bad at all.
3/29/2011 11:02:09 PM
Well I do have extra to sell. 4 white, 2 black and 3 of the orange/black stripped ones. If anyone is interested.
3/29/2011 11:20:19 PM

I love my patent leather shoes. You'd get a lot of use out of red ones. Definitely consider buying them.
3/30/2011 10:20:21 PM
Oh heck yeah.. I had already bought those suckers before even posting. THEY'RE AWESOME NO DOUBT.You're right, Nerdchick.. I actually didn't even have my cap and gown in mind when I first wanted to purchase them but then I thought hmm these might be great for graduation.^I've always wanted patent leather shoes and I've always wanted red pumps so this encompassed all of my wants/needs/lets-call-them-needs-because-it-justifies-them-further Though it really would have been awesome to wear these back when we did the black caps and gowns NCSU FAIL ]

I can't decide where I should get a new swim suit...old navy has failed me this year...normally they are my trustworthy place for suits. I dunno, I may have to bite the bullet and go to some place around here and pay way to much for a suit, but I gotta get something that fits me right, I hate being in a suit and tugging at it or being afraid i'm going to get exposed.I gotta get a swim suit body at some point in my life so that it's much easier to find a suit.Basically I need a one piece, halter top, boob coverage, low cut in the legs.[Edited on March 30, 2011 at 11:41 PM. http://www.unique-vintage.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=bathing+suit&Go.x=0&Go.y=0they have suits like that. i have one. i love it.
3/31/2011 12:13:48 AM
i have had good luck in the past finding decent suits at department storesyou have to dig a bit but they have suits that tend to fit those needs imo
3/31/2011 12:15:08 AM
YOu know what would be cool...if there was a website that I can submit a picture of myself and then they would tell what suit would look best on you
3/31/2011 9:36:25 AM
3/31/2011 9:43:42 AM
I've worn the same bathing suit for 5 years
3/31/2011 9:45:38 AM
I haven't worn a bathing suit for just about 5 years
3/31/2011 9:47:20 AM
I swim at the gym so I use that same suit at the beach. I've never owned a bikini and probably never will.
3/31/2011 9:50:30 AM
i am abathing suit fanatic even though i dont wear them that often..... the way most girls are about shoes-i am with swimsuits (and shoes)
3/31/2011 9:54:03 AM
^same hereBut since I wear one pieces I'm always on the search for super cute ones that show my personality. It sucks that they make so many boring one pieces and sooooo many cute 2 piece suits.Makes me wanna sew some together lol
3/31/2011 10:00:07 AM
it's just hard to find a suit that I wanna drop $80 on knowing that I'm going to be wearing all summer on the beach and I'm only going to get one summer out of it
3/31/2011 10:06:45 AM
that's why you buy more than one suit
3/31/2011 10:08:27 AM
^read my mind
3/31/2011 10:10:52 AM
Well yeah I do...that's the issue, hard enough finding one that I wanna do that for, much less two, and with the amount of time I spend on the beach in the summer suits are ruined for me. One day I'll be skinny and I can wear a two piece....those are so much easier to find
3/31/2011 10:16:38 AM
Couldn't find the pic to post it.....but I broke down and bought this dress....I'm in LOVE!!!http://www.ideeli.com/events/43326/offers/1276378/latest_view/990534
