i think he'd get a pretty decent amount of playing time equal to julius mays last year when he was productive[Edited on May 14, 2010 at 7:57 PM. Reason : d]

^^^Are you still talking about Hodge?I remember him getting a ton of points just by going to the basket hard and getting fouled.

school year has just really finished the SID doesnt really issue anything until the semester is finally over. thats my guess and not knowledge of the situation

5/15/2010 1:11:17 PM
He's legit. I mean, he just has the tools to make a difference on the floor and I believe that the most important parts of his game, court vision and ballhandling, will translate just fine to the college game. Sure, it will take him a little time to adjust to the college level speed and athleticism but I think he'll be starting before acc play begins. Just my two cents. Also, I've never noticed how much he likes to use that little runner/floater from 10-15 feet out.

2012 recruit Tyler Harris is claiming an offer. Larry Harris is the lead recruiter for ushttp://hsnewyork.scout.com/a.z?s=403&p=8&c=1&nid=3906317[Edited on May 16, 2010 at 2:01 PM. Reason : .]

the is8 videos of harrow are pretty sick. i hope it translates to college. he reminds me of nick van exel but goes to the basket more.
5/16/2010 4:06:28 PM
^^^2011 right? he's not reclassifying, is he?
5/16/2010 4:12:54 PM
Yes, he is 2011.
5/16/2010 7:37:39 PM
motherfucker said, "Nick van Exel"what a random player to compare him to
5/16/2010 10:15:05 PM
Kenny Anderson is probably the best Harrow comparison you can makeSimilar size, similar athleticism, both flashy, both can do some and1ish dribbling and passing in game against real talent... look him up on youtube and you'll see they're pretty damn similar]
5/17/2010 5:12:21 AM
^^^ scout.com does say that he intends to reclassify as 2012, due to grades.

I only removed it because I wasn't sure if we were recruiting the guy. I knew I had read his name here, but didn't know if he was actually on our radar.
5/17/2010 3:31:46 PM
Looks great in the video, but he plays at Forsyth Country Day, and I'd imagine their competition is pretty weak. Might be another Trevor Ferguson situation.
5/17/2010 3:40:22 PM
We have offered Tyler Lewis.^ FWIW he played well at the Dave Telep's Carolina Challenge and he plays on Chris Paul's CP3 All-Stars AAU team.[Edited on May 17, 2010 at 3:57 PM. Reason : ]
5/17/2010 3:56:30 PM
very skilled.not very athletic though. fast but cant jump
5/17/2010 5:43:47 PM
How is he not athletic? He's fast, quick, can stop on a dime, and has lots of energy.Unless by "not athletic" you meant "white, not particularly strong, and doesn't have explosive rising capabilities".
5/17/2010 7:07:54 PM
i'd imagine he will struggle to defend quick guards at the college level
5/17/2010 7:10:27 PM
who defends quick guards well? defense is more than just stopping speed; unless the gap in speed is overwhelming. i know this is an example that has been used a lot, but atsur wasn't particular quick and he did really well here because he had great fundamentals. hell, just look at that guy from byu this year. he was slow as molasses but he knew how to put the ball in the basket.
5/17/2010 8:23:03 PM
He looks great already and he's only a sophomore, going into his junior year this upcoming fall. If he keeps progressing, he'll be very skilled, and a great backup to Ryan if he stays that long.

Wright State fans get two years of confused looks and lazy passes.
5/18/2010 9:06:31 AM
hah. i was just at wright state last night.big jump from an acc school to a commuter school that isn't even the biggest thing in dayton.
5/18/2010 9:34:36 AM
Not very upset to see him go, but i hope he lights it up at Wright St.
5/18/2010 9:40:11 AM
Or you could just say congrats to Julius and that we wish him well there.Asshats.
5/18/2010 9:41:02 AM
Thats pretty much what he did
5/18/2010 9:41:36 AM
wright state has had some good teams in the past and plays in a competitive conference. being closer to home and a chance to start over might do wonders for him.

Is Davis transferring too?
5/18/2010 6:39:19 PM
^apparently so. that really sucks.
5/18/2010 6:40:34 PM
i don't really understand that transfer, unless he just doesn't like playing for lowe, which is entirely possible.[Edited on May 18, 2010 at 6:44 PM. Reason : he had to have come here knowing how he stacks up talentwise in the acc. plus he got a lot of PT]
5/18/2010 6:43:58 PM
Best of luck to him. He is a fine roll player but wouldn't have gotten on the floor much this year. Maybe he can continue to defection to Wright St.
5/18/2010 6:46:07 PM
I guess he probably wouldn't get a lot of PT behind Leslie, Wood, Brown, Thomas, Williams, and possibly Mabry or another sf. But I hate that, he'd be a great upper-classmen spark off the bench, and he seemed like a stand-up guy. I hate to see him go. Oh well, hopefully wherever he lands he'll make us proud.
5/18/2010 6:55:12 PM
Updated rally train?
5/18/2010 6:56:34 PM
He spoke w/ the guys @ PI.
5/18/2010 7:04:03 PM
I always assumed that Davis got the scholly because we had one to give and it would give him enough exposure to transfer to another school where he could contribute more.Kid played hard, I hope things work out for him wherever he lands.
