This Liverpool run to the final was the run United had in 2011. Beating up on poor European teams and then playing a truly great team in the final. Just like United, started well in the first 15 min, went down a goal, got a quick equalizer and then did nothing rest of the match. At least Barca were la liga champions.

Klopp has lost 6 straight finals. Yea would rather take Mou's shit football and finals record over that. Finishing 6 points behind United but I doubt the press gives them half the criticism Mou got. Great way to end the year.

The Salah injury was unfortunate, but at the same time as I stated previously, Liverpool were only there through getting the easiest path the entire tournament in the first place. It turned into a free roll that didn't go their way. The cards were stacked against them even if Mo stays on the field.

I do get a bit of satisfaction after the shit liverpool fans spouted about Kane all season (no one on here in particular just generic pool internet fan) that it took a record breaking season from Salah for them to finish 4th with no trophies. All the while the media washing their balls like they are second coming too. It felt good to see them crash back down to earth.

Next season is going to be a beast. I would assume all the top 6 will be spending and everyone is so close it could only be 1-2 players that make the difference for the title next season.

Our best player goes off after 30 minutes and Real decides to start playing. Real were handed two goals on a platter from the one weak link, got a wonder goal from Bale and Liverpool were still in it until the third goal. Disappointed but not embarrassed at all to lose given the way we went for it.

If Emry wants to play 3 at the back then Stephan is a good signing, especially on a free. Just because he is slower now doesn't mean he doesn't add utility for the team. A solid defensive signing that can fill in for multiple positions in the backline for a team that needs to bolster the defense.
