2) Terrible clock management at the end by TOB. On 2nd down we had 30 seconds left on the play clock when we hiked it. Could have used up the time so Marylan didn't have any left. Then on 3rd down we threw it and saved Maryland a time out.
3) Even though we didn't deserve it, I will take the first road win against an Atlantic team.

yeah that isn't how it went down at all. We kicked the FG with 32 seconds.

You can argue to run the ball and make Maryland use the TO, but probably slim chance at a first down(and I wouldn't put it past us to fumble).
They chose to pass, and if they get the first down you are kicking to win with no time on the clock if you get it. I thought all that was handled just fine, revisionist history complaint here.

Fine with how they handled the last drive of the game, not fine with how we let them move the ball after.

I agree that he would've been fine had he not cut it back in. But he had a blocker who was calling for him to cut back in. I don't disagree with him for cutting back in. It was a questionable call on the BITB and, IMO, it shoulda been a TD. It don't blame Amerson at all for what he did.

That's not what he's referring to. First down it was apparent we needed to kill clock but we hiked the ball with 20+ seconds on the play clock. Second down Maryland called a time out immediately, etc, then we kicked the field goal on 4th.

Yup BITB could have easily been a no call. Defender was falling anyhow how and barely got a shove.

Glad we won, but disappointed that we were not able to put up more points. It was frustrating to watch us blow opportunity after opportunity in the 4th quarter. I wanted to see more Shadrack and less Creecy or pass plays.

TOB is the best coach we could have gotten. He is not the best but he is by far not the worst.

The one thing that you will notice over the years is that TOB teams get better throughout the season. IMO this is the one tell tale sign of a good coach. My biggest gripe with TOB is that he doesn't recruit well.

My priorities for state football in order of importance are:

#1 Beat Carolina
#2 Winning record / bowl game birth

TOB has been doing a decent job at both so I give him a thumbs up.

1. For the millionth time, the block in the back wasn't on Dowdy blocking the QB. There was a lineman that pushed a maryland lineman in the back.

2. Didn't deserve the win? Did maryland deserve the win? Hell, maybe we should just give back the 3 points that our kicker MADE so that they could have the win since they deserved it...get outta here with that BS. Every team that wins a game DESERVES to win that game. They did just enough to score more points than the other team. Isn't that what it all comes down to? I'll take being on the team that scores more points 100 times out of 100. That "deserves" BS is exactly that...BS
