Gilligan 2016

we got most everything we wanted, as far as deaths and resolution gobut I would've liked more info about some of the loose ends (one montage might've solved this for me): is Brock in some orphanage now? What about Lydia's kid? How's Saul doing in Nebraska? Is Huell still wasting away in that hotel room? What do Badger and Skinny Pete do with their new money? Are they still doing meth?
9/29/2013 10:32:15 PM
something like that would have been out of place... the series dies with walter white.

they have the Honest Trailers narrator doing the BB dvd stuff
9/29/2013 10:38:25 PM
I, for one, didn't give a shit about Brock
9/29/2013 10:39:59 PM
That was perfect
9/29/2013 10:42:06 PM
I realize the show is fictionbut there are plenty of small things they could've dealt with to round it outthey didn't even let Walt Jr talk to his dad in the final episode: that's definitely directly related to Walt[Edited on September 29, 2013 at 10:46 PM. Reason : curious what Jesse does now, too]
9/29/2013 10:45:17 PM
It was perfect. Walt got everything he wanted and it ended where he was in his element. /punintended

One of my favorite songs. El Paso

I thought Malcolm would come in and start crying
9/29/2013 10:48:54 PM
Damn this episode flew by.Can't think of a better finale for any show.

Jesse becomes a driver in the Need for Speed movie
9/29/2013 10:50:52 PM
I think I really just wanted Jesse to get some of the nazis' moneyI like to imagine he's on his way to Alaska

I know some people are going to bitch about this being too convenient of a wrap up. One thing I really wanted to see was Walt go down in a huge blue explosion. I also wanted Jesse to walk outside, grab the M60 and blow Todd into a thousand pieces. I wanted more violence.
9/29/2013 11:35:40 PM
^dude jesse killing todd was brutal as fuck, not only did he stangle him which is a hella personal way to kill someone, I'm pretty sure I heard todd's neck snap.
9/29/2013 11:46:44 PM
Pumped for the Saul spinoff.
9/29/2013 11:55:56 PM
This was the ending Dexter could have had. And I'm good with how it went down.

Gus died in an explosion with CGI yo.
9/30/2013 12:35:20 AM
so far all the "I hate Walt" people...and granted, you're certainly entitled to change your opinion since he seemed to redeem himself in the final episode...but for the people who went from liking Walt early in the show, to just hating him...including the prison hits he ordered, what innocent people did he kill over the entire course of the show of him being some evil monster? A lawyer (in the prison hits)? And arguably Jesse's girlfriend? People make it seem like the dozens of people he killed over the course of the show made him some evil monster, when 90%+ of them were violent criminals or people who knew what they were involved with
9/30/2013 12:58:59 AM
Gus' death was one of the best 'villain' deaths I can remember in tv/movies.
9/30/2013 1:04:38 AM
^^ he made meth. a high quality meth that I bet was hella addictive. he wasn't making sugar for sugar addictscase close
9/30/2013 1:20:28 AM
"it's ok he killed nothing but bad guys. He's good "said Hank never RIP.
9/30/2013 1:22:31 AM
I'm not sure any TV show will ever top Breaking Bad in my opinion. The last 8 episodes were especially amazing.
9/30/2013 1:22:32 AM
so glad I got into this series. missed the first 3 seasons, got convinced to start watching. got it on Netflix. almost gave up on it in season 2.best series I've ever watched[Edited on September 30, 2013 at 1:33 AM. Reason : d]
9/30/2013 1:30:10 AM
^^^Its a show full of bad guys, aside from maybe Walt Jr and Holly. What makes Walt so much worse than anyone else in the show?and Hank is too busy beating the shit out of Jesse to say that
9/30/2013 1:31:21 AM
Walt didn't kill Hank.
9/30/2013 1:42:10 AM
none of them were good guys. and most them died like they should have. Walt constantly put his family and close people to him in danger over and over again and lie like no man has lie before. It was downright arrogant. I'm glad the show never showed the meth users end of the story. I bet he's filling graves by the minute[Edited on September 30, 2013 at 1:44 AM. Reason : nn]

I havent watched a single episode of this show, except for the finale last night.
9/30/2013 9:38:43 AM
^^Had the same reaction. Love the show, but the ending was a bit of a letdown if only because they telegraphed it. No surprises.Love the deadpan line "If we're gonna go that way, you're gonna need a bigger knife".[Edited on September 30, 2013 at 9:48 AM. Reason : d]

It was great finale. Not one of the best episodes of the show, but I can't imagine a better way to have ended the series.
9/30/2013 12:53:21 PM
I don't know about edge of seat, but my heart was pounding throughout the episode especially during the elliott/gretchen "sniper" scene, and the lead-in to the machine gun turret barrage. All in all, every character received the ending they deserved, and i don't see how they could have ended the show in any other way. The last scene with walt in the meth lab made me happy and sad at the same time.
