I have yet to transfer my online character to my PS4 version. Am I right in that now you have to have a PSN prime account to play online?

yeah PS4 isn't free online anymore.

I finished installing / updating. Nothing has changed in this game as far as I can tell. I keep getting kicked from the server constantly when I try to join game lobbies, and the load times are ridiculously long.

I don't know why in the hell they don't have a start screen where you choose online or storyline, it makes no sense. I hate having to load up the storyline and then go into the menu to get to online. I know there's a point when the game is loading up that you can hit A and go to online directly, but the window is pretty small

I fixed my connection issues by clearing my cache. Played a few online jobs but there hasn't been a full lobby of people so far. hopefully it'll pick up when ever they decide to release the heists.
