but why? Maybe I'm a bit biased but ballroom dancing is great. Actually every guy I've ended up with the first few dates include dancing, I have to check out their willingness to do something out of the box.

a couple days ago I shot a chick a message, and she replied. the name she signed her message with was fairly rare, so I facebooked her. and it seems that her hair (which is covered up by a hood in her okcupid pic) is very short, which downgraded her from about a 7.5 to around a 3.

she gave me her # and said to text her sometime. I don't think I'm going to.

wrt ^^^^^^^, I wrote her another message and went on the date. She was not nearly as cute as her okcupid pic suggested, but not as ugly as her Facebook pic indicated either. she was attractive enough that I was not ashamed to be seen with her in public, but only just.

I'm on okc and match. I like okc's questions but I think they go too far. I've ruled out quite a few girls based on answers that I could probably live with if I actually met them. I've actually talked and gone out with a lot more girls on Match but that could be due to my location as well.

^^the less attractive girls are much more forward. at least on match. i've gotten numerous messages from them. most of the time just quick "hey how are you" or "hey i really liked your profile".

then you have the attractive girls who i've let know i'm interested, then gotten a response back saying they are too. then i'll follow up with a message only to never hear anything again. online dating is a strange world, i'm quickly realizing.

what's funny is the girl i'm currently talking to didn't even have profile picture. something i would usually never consider. but i said what the hell, sent a few emails, finally got some pics and was pleasantly surprised.
