My power was out at the house all day yesterday but fortunately came back on almost immediately when I got home from work. It really sucks when our power goes out because we are on a well, so we can't even flush the toilets.

Our internet here at the office is still down. I think we (Clear) have like 20 towers offline right now. Apparently the high wind damaged a bunch of equipment.

We only had a small cherry tree across the street go down. It was a crazy storm, we watched it from our place on the third story, and stuff was blowing everywhere.

We only lost power for 5sec. but it took out Arab's GT5 game on the PS3.

The one on Lawndale was the first one. It used to be on the corner of Lawndale and Pisgah Church next to Pie Works, but they tore down the Food Lion next door and built the new one. It's pretty spiffy.

I live in a much-more-dope-than-cityview apartment above one of the places in that neighborhood. Living downtown is awesome, but you can get a lot more bang for your buck at other place with more character if you look and don't care so much about the pool.

That end of Elm Street is really flourishing. There are multiple bars/restaurants/other random cool stuff to walk to and all sorts of little shops and it just keeps growing. Soon Deep Roots will be a bike ride away, which is equally as awesome.

I was not really thrilled about moving from Raleigh to Greensboro until we got our place downtown but its actually a pretty neat little city as long as you take advantage of everything. People that bitch so much about it being boring probably aren't. It is much easier to get out and enjoy it being so close.

I live off N. Elm now, by Fisher Park just north of downtown. I thought Elm below Lee was a shithole.

And the pool is the least attractive feature. Pools tend to attract dbags.
