Here's a really powerful ad put out by RevolutionPAC (not the RP campaign), entitled the "The Compassion of Dr. Ron Paul". Undeniable proof that Ron Paul is, indeed, a racist. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=8Rv0Z5SNrF4And his response after seeing the ad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=mB7SG5gpWAwNo grandstanding there, wow.Ron Paul doesn't just talk about compassion or demand that the government be "compassionate" through the use of force as some do. Throughout his life he has served, rather than expecting others to pick up the slack.[Edited on December 29, 2011 at 7:43 PM. Reason : ]

Wow.So Ron Paul killed that white woman's baby because the father was black? And he couldn't even remember it... very sad.
12/29/2011 8:40:58 PM
I've had a Ron Paul bumper sticker on my car for over a year now. There's another one in my parking lot.On my ride home for Christmas I saw a huge sign for Ron Paul on the road.At an expensive christmas party i conversed with several successful people who are voting for Ron Paul. Many of my friends from high school, college, and work are voting for Ron Paul.So much for not meeting them in real life. Maybe you hang out with poor people?

It's so sad that someone as batshit crazy as Paul is our last hope to avoid disaster and collapse. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JyvkjSKMLwRon Paul: "Theory of evolution...I don't accept it"How'd this guy get his medical degree? They must have been using leaches to birth babies back in those dark ages. Premature contractions? I'll bet a good bloodletting will let those bad humors out and fix the expectant mother right up!Surely there must be a better candidate that can step up once Paul isn't permitted to win the primary.[Edited on December 29, 2011 at 10:17 PM. ^^^ i don't think Paul is a young earth creationist, to be fair.the fact that he might believe that the Christian God created the earth is not surprising or concerning in the grand scheme, if he's not pushing a literalist interpretation of the bible.[Edited on December 29, 2011 at 10:24 PM. It shows a deliberate and stubborn ignorance that is unacceptable for the leader of our country. It's as alarming as Bush bragging about not reading newspapers.

The statement that God created humanity is most likely shared by every president, and most world leaders throughout history.that can't be the issue that changes your vote.
12/29/2011 10:30:56 PM
When he starts not believing in the "law of evolution", I'll get real concerned. This ranks way down on my list of things I look for in a candidate.1) Doesn't spend money like a drunk sailor, check2) Respects the constitution, check3)...4523) Believes in theory of evolution, fuck better vote for someone else

The Post-Capitalist Society (1993) is a book by management professor and sociologist Peter Drucker.OverviewThe book states that the "First World Nations" and in particular the United States have entered in a Post-capitalism system of production where the capital is no longer present because it doesn't belongs to one person or family but to a series of organizations such as insurance companies, banks, etc. Because of this, normal citizens become virtually owners of the great American enterprises, being owners of the capital, therefore, not destroying but overcoming the capitalism. The book foresees that the post-capitalist society will become a society of organizations where every organization will be highly specialized in its particular field.

that video had me until they said our actions will bankrupt uswe all know its social security and medicaid and our current debt and interest on debt that are bankrupting usnot war expenditures. again. such great ideas on paper. they just don't work in reality. and i'm glad even the most liberal president in 40 years agrees with me.
12/31/2011 4:25:39 PM
you must have been listening to a lot of Fox & Friends recently, because you are parrotting the hell out of their "good ideas on paper" line. and this is all despite the fact that you can't say how his ideas are actually bad. all you got is "good on paper, man, just like Dick Morris says so!"
1/1/2012 7:29:08 PM
^^Wait, have you actually looked at the federal budget? You're correct that Social Security and Medicare will have to be dealt with, but so will the war spending. It's not an insignificant expenditure.

I'm also curious as to whether or not things like veteran care is stored under defense or under health care. And I don't see a "discretionary" spending in destroyer's pie chart, which usually consists of over 50% defense spending as well...Tax dollars going straight to Lockheed Martin and Blackwater, or Xe, or whatever the fuck they call themselves these days.[Edited on January 1, 2012 at 9:43 PM. our defense spending is outrageously high and we should concentrate a greater portion into the internal workings of our country and the debt.while I hate that america always ends up playing police, it is necessary to do that to a degree to maintain "superiority", but we can still manage that with a smaller budget.hopefully bombing Iran, the ole GOP standby foreign affair answer, will not happen otherwise we will never get a smaller budget passed. Sometimes I wonder if that is the plan

LOLwhat a meaningless, pedantic statement. You can literally apply that to anything, ever. It's good though that Ron Paul has the magical secret to please all of the people, all of the time.
1/2/2012 9:51:01 PM
by politician standards, I don't think he particularly gives a shit about pleasing anyone any of the time, hahaha...he's pretty rigidly set on doing what he think is the dream solution, and what is strictly permissible within the law (when unfortunately, we've ignored the law so much for so long that we've made that impossible), damn everything else.

1/2/2012 11:10:36 PM
What I wonder about, though, is that it seems odd that Fox seems to have lots of "typos" and "mistakes" that slant right, and MSNBC has them that slant left.Confirmation bias? Subconscious input? Intentional, nefarious smear-job journalism?
1/2/2012 11:12:57 PM

Ron Paul is getting the Libertarian message out there, the way Barry Goldwater did 40-some years before. Paul's ideologically-pure message of non-intervention, reduced spending, and a return to the Constitutional concepts of limited governance and protection of civil liberties has resonated with younger voters, and in the years to come we will likely see an adoption of his more palatable policies within the GOP platform.
