Its a freaking BMW. Nothing they make is exotic.

I saw a mirror-finish Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe (convertible 2-door Phantom) a few weeks back, and then saw it again a couple of weeks after that.

Dude was driving it with the top down. The chromed out exterior (whole body) was amazing as hell. You could see the whole city in it!

Especially an S600.

Now if you see an S63 AMG, a case could be made for its inclusion here. But I would say still no.

As to that Rolls up there, I'd say (and I think most would agree) that any Rolls is an exotic, even the relatively common Silver Shadow. BTW that's probably a 70's model as 1980 was the last year of production. 3-5k is the low low low end of the market; you could probably get a rough one for that money, but a good one is going to be considerably more. A quick scan of ebay motors has "buy it now" pricing for Silver Shadows in good shape in the $15K-$30K range.

Drove home next to a new R8 last night, fuck that's a beautiful understated car. Also one of the few supercars I've ever sat in that actually fit my height. Apparently it's made for folks up to 6'7. Too bad that means a ton of added weight for all the adjustability you get

I got to sit and check out a R8 once (not drive it, but sat in the driver's seat and played with it). I don't know why, but I felt like I was in a updated/European version of the NSX. It was VERY comfortable. If I can ever afford one (which I might one day 15 years from now ), I'll purchase one. VERY clean, sexy, and confortable.
