add jeff king as my TE? marcus pollard (seattle) is who i have right now. marcedes lewis is on the wire as well... but just something about King makes me think he will have a decent season.... and atleast he plays for the Panthers who I will watch more than anyone else.
9/12/2007 4:56:25 PM
Lewis was a beast in college, I don't think he had any playing time last year cause of injury
9/12/2007 5:18:58 PM
colston and johnson to give away smithi get 2 for 1should i?
9/12/2007 5:19:34 PM
nothere you have an answer so stop asking!
9/12/2007 5:25:54 PM
I would always be cautious about giving up Smith but since you have Reggie Wayne, Roy Williams, Cotchery, and will be getting Colston back then you would be fine at WR. Reggie will have another big year and with Martz still the coordinator Roy Williams will get his numbers. I don't think Colston will have a repeat season but he will still be a solid number 3 reciever along with Cotchery. Rudi would give you great RB depth along with Henry, Marion Barber, Westbrook, and leon washington.. Henry and Westbrook are somewhat of injury concerns so some added depth would work in your favor. I think both sides would come out of this deal pretty solid. Remember that Jake Delhomme is still the Panthers QB even though he looked pretty solid last week.[Edited on September 12, 2007 at 5:26 PM. Reason : s]
9/12/2007 5:26:26 PM
Week 2, do I start the Bengals Defense or New England? The Bengals are "ranked" much higher and had crazy points week 1, but I know New England will always be solid.
9/12/2007 5:31:04 PM
^you know San Diego is going to put up some points, so I'm benching NE.I have Deuce and Devery Henderson...but I only want to play one of those guys.So it's Deuce @ the Bucs, or Chris Brown vs Indy?then also Devery @ the Bucs or Chambers vs Dallas?
9/12/2007 6:39:42 PM
^^Cincy, that Cleveland offense is pretty bad, and changing to Anderson isn't going to be much help.^Brown vs. Indy Chambers vs. DallasThe Buccs D isn't bad and Deuce will be splitting carries. Chambers gets the nod because..well did you see what Burress did to Dallas last week? They are VERY suspect against the pass and I think Miami will try to exploit that.
9/12/2007 7:05:57 PM
i think lendale might have more success this week than brown
9/12/2007 7:13:14 PM
I think Calvin Johnson will have more than Holt
9/12/2007 7:19:45 PM
har har har you actually maybe right with orlando pace out but they did alright without him last yearbut seriously i think indy's defense is more quick than powerful and that might give lendale a better chance than a quicker back like brown
9/12/2007 7:29:35 PM
i got andre johnson and laveraneus coles starting but I have to start jerry porter vs denver, drew carter vs houston or arnaz battle against sfi'm thinking it's a no win situation
9/12/2007 7:42:54 PM
^ yuck... is Ronald Curry around?
9/12/2007 7:44:10 PM
how is battle playing his own team^^
9/12/2007 7:45:47 PM
9/12/2007 7:58:08 PM
i know he plays for the 9'ers, just mistypedcurry was long snatched up, I scoured the waiver wire and all i got was arnaz and drewima roll a dice and hopefully andre and laveraneus peyton and the chargers can carry me againthrow nate burleson in the mix[Edited on September 12, 2007 at 8:08 PM. After watching Arnaz Battle on Monday Night, he is staying as my solid #3 / backup WR. That kid has the best work ethic I've ever seen. It's too bad you can't get points for blocking, because he is probably the best downfield blocking reciever I've ever seen, and his hands are GOLDEN.As long as Alex Smith stays consistent, Battle is going to pull in 5-10 points a game
9/12/2007 9:34:03 PM
for my number two slotChris Brown vs. IndyRonnie Brown vs. DallasJulius Jones @ Miami
9/12/2007 10:29:37 PM
well, based on potential and matchups, you would have to go with Brown in that situation.
9/12/2007 10:34:52 PM
i was offered Chad Johnson and Cedric Benson for Steven Jacksonshould i do it?my other WR's are Houshmanzedah and Javon Walker (with Bernard Berrian and Ronald Curry on the bench)my other RB's are Edgerrin, with Chris Henry on the bench[Edited on September 12, 2007 at 10:48 PM. Reason : more.]
9/12/2007 10:42:26 PM
depends on if you need a WR, if you do then yeshmm you have fairrrr depth at WR, seems like hardly any at RB really, i duno thats a close oneboth steve and CJ gonna get touches, id say yes just because its two for one, really depends on Benson from here on out with some less than good defenses, he got stopped by SD a good D last week.[Edited on September 12, 2007 at 10:50 PM. You stick with Jackson.Everyone, PLEASE do not overreact based on the fact that you are either 0-1 or one of your studs (like S-Jax) had a bad game. You owe it to yourself to wait and reap the benefits on someone like Jackson in mid-season form.Week 1 is typically an anomoly anyway. Those who will produce, didnt...and those who did, likely wont (Curry, Brown, etc.) for the entire course of the year.If I were you, I would hold off on making blockbuster trades just yet.- The Guru

9/13/2007 10:55:16 AM
Yeah people in my league are over-reacting like crazy. Already have one person saying if Lee Evans has another bad week he's dropping him, haha, and people trying to race to pick-up Drew Carter and Randel-El for big-time trading, which I just don't understand, haha.In other news, I really hope Tony-G has a great game this week, hard to put him on the trading block after his miserable week 1 totals.
9/13/2007 12:03:51 PM
would any of you take Brandon Marshall over Marty Bookerwhich one....[Edited on September 13, 2007 at 12:28 PM. Reason : .]
9/13/2007 12:25:09 PM
I had Evans, and I am gonna give him some time before I write him off. I also have the Colts as my second defense, but they will have to prove it to me over the next few weeks with consisten performances before I will start them over Pitt.
9/13/2007 1:54:55 PM
Sit Start Q:Tony Gonzalez (KC) @ Chicago or Eric Johnson (NOR) @ TB?
9/13/2007 2:41:25 PM
Gonzalez is always an integral part of the KC offense, even when there isn't much. Johnson looked good, but add in the fact that the Bears have lost I think three starters for the year on defense now, and I think there will be some holes. Plus, in the red zone I think you are guaranteed that Gonzo will be a number 1 target, and Johnson will be like the third check down receiver at best.
9/13/2007 3:05:47 PM
9/13/2007 3:13:41 PM
^ I would take Brandon Marshall just because Marty Booker is fucking inconsistent and Marshall plays in a better offense.I have a question for the others on the board:Who to start:LJ Smith or Owen Daniels at TE?Derrick Ward or Marshawn Lynch at RB?
9/13/2007 3:28:51 PM
Smith and Lynch
9/13/2007 4:05:43 PM
ok, leinart against seattle or cutler against oakland. or neither, and pick up garcia?
9/13/2007 4:22:12 PM
Leinhart or Garrard this week in my league where I have shitty QBs?
9/13/2007 4:36:57 PM
Brandon Marshall or JCotch as my flex this week?[Edited on September 13, 2007 at 4:46 PM. Reason : ^garrard]
9/13/2007 4:45:34 PM
Kitna vs. Minn or Delhomme vs. Hou ?
9/13/2007 4:48:26 PM
Which one sits this week?Laveraneus Coles Vs. BaltimoreSantonio Holmes Vs. BuffaloBrandon Marshall Vs. OaklandI'm leaning toward Holmes, but want some input.
9/13/2007 4:51:08 PM
trade scenario, I am in a really deep league 16 teams h2h. 3 wrs and 2 rbs no flex.I have ocho cinco(cin), holt (stl), dwayne bowe(kc) , jacoby jones (hou), anthony gonzalez(ind) at wrat rb im thin with: s. jackson(stl), d. williams (car) then a bunch of shit: mike bell (den), adrian peterson (the shitty chicago one) I was offered Tatum Bell (det) and Stokely (den) for d. williams (car) and bowe (kc)2 things worry me. One is kevin jones when he returns. Will i go from one split back to another. And Kitna is my qb, too heavy with the shit lions. Just looking for some opinions. Thanks
9/13/2007 4:55:12 PM
lemme go down the lineCutler against OaklandGarrardMarshallKitnaColes sits, Baltimore is goodyea i wouldnt go along with that, Bell will be replaced soon and thats alot of lions if they have a bad week
9/13/2007 5:22:37 PM
at TE do I startLeonard Pope from ArizonaRandy McMichael from St. Louis Eric Johnson from New OrleansTE's are so thin anyways, any ideas?
9/13/2007 5:23:36 PM
i'd say johnson, just because the rams td's will go to holt, and leinart is playing against seattle's D. plus johnson is mainly a pass catching TE anywayis culpepper worth picking up?
9/13/2007 6:00:58 PM
if you dont have a solid QB then yes, id say so, he's prolly gonna be really efficient with his passes, nothing too far down the field and may throw a TD, maybe 2 if you get lucky.
9/13/2007 6:04:42 PM
well i've got cutler and leinart
9/13/2007 6:07:46 PM
at the flex position... marion barber vs. miami or wes welker vs. san diego?also im thinkin about givin jerrious norwood the start at RB this week against the jags. stupid?
9/13/2007 8:11:25 PM
^it depends on your scoring system really (how many yds/point, is it a ppr league, do you get points for return yards)[Edited on September 13, 2007 at 9:26 PM. Reason : 8]
9/13/2007 9:25:58 PM
Eli Manning (questionable) vs GB?Delhomme vs Houston?Grossman vs KC?
9/14/2007 12:39:39 AM
I'd play Delhomme
9/14/2007 12:45:38 AM
need to start one:M. Vick vs JaxC. Henry vs CleK. Robinson vs NYG
