5/9/2008 9:56:54 PM
drunktyper is supposed to be getting them. If not they are yours for 10 dollars for all four. I should mention to both of you that these are used but still work great, sorry forgot to mention that in the original post.

I'm looking for a cheap 9mm plinker. Doesn't necessarily have to be 9mm, but I like the massive amounts of cheap ammo for goofin' around with. Will be in Raleigh in a couple of days. Lemme know.
5/15/2008 6:43:34 PM
^ Pick up a Sig P225, they run about $250 to $300, Im sure some of the local dealers have em in stockhttp://www.jgsales.com/product_info.php/p/sig-p6-p225-9mm-caliber,-semi-auto-pistol,-g-vg-/products_id/1903
5/15/2008 7:37:26 PM
Only 8 rounds? Damn!
5/15/2008 8:11:04 PM
pay under 5 and get a NIB XD-9 at PDHSC off of tryon, or check the consignment case out there, they almost always have a few cheap 9s in the used sale case.
5/16/2008 7:32:32 PM
Lawmans has some stainless smith and wesson 9mms that are used, 5906 models I think. decent enough.
5/16/2008 9:45:38 PM
Don't go to PDHSC for a XD. They're $50+ cheaper a block away at Lawman's (off Anvil Dr. I think it is).
5/17/2008 8:41:25 AM
check lawmans first.
5/17/2008 11:22:34 PM
I pretty much hate stainless, nickel, 2 tone, etc., guns. I ran into one of those Springfields though, full package, hi-cap clips, all that good stuff. Another bastard beat me to it. Brand new, never fired. $400. That...bastard!
5/18/2008 12:06:18 AM

Does anyone need a largish padded case for a handgun? Has plenty of room for a handgun + several magazines. I can get the dimensions later if anyone is interested. How is $10?
5/19/2008 12:12:07 AM
If it is a soft case I am interested. Dimensions would help
5/21/2008 3:51:16 PM
^^ may be interested...
5/21/2008 4:15:09 PM
It's a hard case. I'll get the dimensions when I get home.

buy your keltec new, they are cheap, and work like a champ.
5/25/2008 12:46:08 AM
Anyone have any Glock 17/19 mags they want to get rid of?
5/25/2008 7:31:38 AM
^^ lol, keltec's work like a champ? Could have fooled me. Biggest piece of shit I've ever owned or shot and that includes Hi-points. I went through so much shit with mine trying to get it to work and be reliable and nothing worked. Seriously, they can't even finish the guns and send them out with flashing everywhere and, in the case of mine, a feedramp that might as well have been serrated. If you want a P3AT, hold out for a Ruger LCP. They are actually able to make the gun look halfway decent and reports from owners so far are absolutely blowing KT out of the water. Sorry but I just can't trust a gun that's great AFTER it's been back to the manufacturer 4 times. KT's are a 50/50 gun at best. Maybe you'll get lucky and get one that's actually reliable but don't buy it unless you're VERY prepared for it to not work worth a damn.

I've got a Yugoslavian M59/66 SKS rifle for sale. Comes with ~120 rounds of 7.62, 7-8 stripper clips, a sling, a sight adjustment tool, a silicone cloth sock thingy and a black hard plastic case. When I got had the firing pin upgraded as detailed here: http://www.murraysguns.com/sksown.htm to prevent slam-fire. It worked fine for a while, but starting having problems extracting. I hadn't ever cleaned out the gas system before, so I took broke it all the way down, and after cleaning it thoroughly can't get the trigger group back in. Doesn't look like anything is broken, I think it just needs a lot of force or something. I guess I'm open to offers since I don't know how much its worth. How much is it worth?]
5/26/2008 7:14:46 PM
my keltec P32 works like a charm, I know folks who have put THOUSANDS of rounds through the 32 and 38's. That said, the 9's have had some issues over the years, but I have never experienced a keltec that, out of the box, would not feed and fire ammo. Maybe I have just been very lucky so far.
5/26/2008 7:41:53 PM
RE: Keltecs...I'm glad that both of you have had good results. I'm just basing it upon my personal experience, what I've read from others with personal experience on TFL & Ktog, & dealers who dislike them (i.e. Lawman's who sells quite a few KTs). My experience is bad enough that I will never purchase anything made by KT again. I do agree that the P32 seems to be quite reliable but I prefer to keep my guns .380 or above. The P3AT and PF9 seem to be the worst of the bunch. It amazes me how many people on Ktog talk about how great the gun is after talking about having to send it back to the factory 1-2 times to get issues worked out. Statements like those from "happy" owners and my personal experience (I forgot to add that my slide began peening before I got rid of it) is part of the reason that I damn the whole company. The other is the absolutely abismal finishing that KT does on their guns. If HiPoint can produce cheap guns that go bang when you pull the trigger & have some finishing work done, I can't understand how KT can't. I think most owners would be happy to pay another $10-20 for a KT that didn't have excess flash throughout the gun.Anyway, this is probably better suited to Fumbler's Gun Thread than the Classifieds so I'll end here. I just try to let others know about my personal experiences concerning guns, especially when they were as dismal as my KT.

5/27/2008 6:51:21 PM
I assume your sks was one of the in the grease yugo ones with the flip up lowlight sights and the rifle grenade launcher front end?
5/27/2008 9:46:51 PM
well since mine is the only yugo sks ive ever seen (not too into guns), i don't know how to differentiate.but yeah it came in cosmoline, and i cleaned it up pretty nicely. and it does have flip up glow in the dark sights on the rear sight.

I got a Sig Sauer P2022 Pro in 9mm, like new in the box, has 3 15rd mags, trijicon night sights, it has the light rail, comes with an Insight m3 Tactical illuminator, and i'll throw in about 50rds of hollow points and a box of practice rounds. Its been a great gun. I've had i about a year, about 300rds have been through it so its in great shape. the Person who buys this need a pistol purchase permit or CCW, asking 400, will take partial trades only if interesting.[Edited on May 30, 2008 at 8:39 AM. that really makes no sense.you might have had more of an argument if you had focused on the ak-47 instead of firearms in general, since the values on ak-47s have been going up and will continue to go up for the foreseeable future. so yes, trading an appreciating object like the ak for a depreciating object doesn't make too much financial sense, but there's more to life than money ya know. and in the end we're not talking about that much money here anyway so "completely retarded" is a pretty massive overstatement.]
