Worked out this week for the first time without stimulants (after being on them for about 3 months - finally, I started having stomach pains), and everything seemed to be quite a bit harder. It feels like I am not getting enough oxygen for me to have the energy to push through those extra reps (on average, my sets were one rep less, and for cardio, 1 minute less). Perhaps without the stimulants, my heart isn't pumping as much blood as it used to. Also, it seems like I have to lift "differently" when lifting weights.. almost like my nervous system was used to working in a different way.I think I'm gonna stay off of them for good and go all-natural. (I'll still be supplementing with protein, of course).

Biked 29½ miles on the greenway & braved some north Charlotte (albeit light due to holiday) traffic. Averaged a paltry 12 mph (thanks stray dogs & stray-er children), and topped 36 downhill, wheee! Bested my previous best solo ride by seven miles.
