I was given a Benelli M2 tactical for Christmas from a contractor that I've given a lot of work over the past 2 years.

It's way cool, but I have literally no idea what use I will ever have for it.

Honestly, I cut the barrel to get rid of the front sight...and to make it more compact. I cant stand when I walk with a rifle muzzle down and its close to the ground.

Yep, its a Houge. Really nice feeling and pretty stiff as well.

I borrowed an old 2nd gen Glock 21 from the range officer today and shot 8 rounds at 7 yds offhand...put 6 of them through one ragged hole.








Shot the 1911 and XDm some, too.

Anyone have any firsthand experience with a FNX 9mm? I have a friend who is considering buying his first handgun and has shown great interest in this one even though he hasn't shot anything other than my HKs so far. Reviews on it seem solid.

My second hand experience: A guy at a class I was taking had one. He had no problems and said he really like it.....








Also, I took the G37 (45GAP) to the range this weekend with Hiro. We put about 60 rounds through it. Very manageable, louder than .40, has the wide slide that everyone complains about.
Today, I sold the slide and two mags for $330. So I'm $70 into it, and still have ~250 rounds of ammo and a nice OD frame.

it bothers me that gun rights activists constantly fail to fully call out anti's on the definition of assault weapons and make it clear, if not to the panel, but to the viewing public, the non-existent difference between "assault" weapons and non-"assault weapons".

^^only way you're gonna get .45 Colt up near .44 Mag performance is to handload or buy Buffalo Bore, but those "+P" loads are only safe in Blackhawks and Contenders.
