maybe Bradbury could be a good replacement for Ryan Kalil. And he'd be the 2nd Bradbury/Bradberry on the team.

Ledford was co-OC and OL coach at App State. We poached him to be our OL coach. Made him Associate HC and Run Game Coordinator(title bumps to keep him). UL poaches him to be the same thing he was at App State. Honestly thought he'd end up the HC at App State, didn't think he'd jump for the co-OC title, but I'm fine with him leaving over being forced to give him another title here. If Drink left we'd have people clamoring to make him OC and that seems like a bad idea. Not sure he's really been a play-caller at OC and I thought our running game this year was OK for the most part but still had some head-scratcher games like Wake where we had no creativity and didn't really maximize the players we had. OL coach should have a lot of good options, just have to hope this doesn't bite us in the ass with any of our current commits because you know Ledford is going to be recruiting them to UL for the next 2 weeks. People might hate it, but I'd call the former UNC OL coach, already knows our kids and UNC has had a good OL for a while. [Edited on December 10, 2018 at 8:20 AM. Reason : .]

Bradbury was 1st team AP All American, Prescod was 3rd.
12/10/2018 1:24:24 PM
^^hes not gonna be co-oc...hes gonna be the only OC. Makes the move alot more understandable. Also, youre not wrong about the former unc ol coach...hes been listed on packpride as an early option. Even with uncs shitty qb play, they only gave up like 1 sack per game this season and almost ran for 200 per. Id take him[Edited on December 11, 2018 at 8:39 AM. Reason : Hdhdj]

Yeah Ledford as OC, yeah that wasn't happening here. Even if Drink left, I'm not sure Ledford would be the hire. He's never been a lone OC. He's never called plays. And he's only been the run game coordinator at 2 schools. That's a LOT of faith from Satterfield to make him the OC.

Drink to App State as head coach
12/13/2018 8:44:46 AM
Good riddance
12/13/2018 10:54:15 AM
Ehh. Our offense was generally pretty good. Lacked explosiveness and red zone efficiency...but overall our O was good and Drinkwitz is a good coach. Seems like DD has been good with his hires, so I’m confident we’ll be happy with his replacement
12/13/2018 11:05:59 AM
Drink called plays from a color by numbers book, and the only thing that saved his shit play calling this year was a wr that made an average qb look like a god. Plus he never adjusted his approach when we were struggling and he couldn't score.I think we can do better

Mike Sanford (Fired WKU HC) just took the OC job at Utah State. Giglio said Doeren was interested in him when Canada left.
12/14/2018 3:54:46 PM
Kitchings and McDonald promoted to co-offensive coordinators.Still have to hire new OL & QB coaches.
12/14/2018 6:44:14 PM
I’m cool with that. Kitchings seemed destined for a promotion- nearly took HC job at furman a few years back and supposedly JMU had him as a candidate for their opening. So it’ll be good to Lee him around - both these guys are really good recruiters, I believe. I kinda expect our offensive identity to remain similar. Obviously there’ll be differences but stylistically I’m not sure there will be lots of changes. A lotta times the OC handles the QBs but since McDonald is WR coach and Kitchings is RBs, I wouldn’t expect that here. So yeah, like ^ said...still need a QB coach.

i'll withhold judgement until jibbles tells us why he sucks.
12/17/2018 2:32:48 PM
Well he "developed" Eli Manning, so that's a minus for him.
12/17/2018 2:59:48 PM
He coached Thad Lewis who threw for 8 million yards against us. As an OC he might be suspect, but QB coach I would say solid. Jake Bentley didn't really progress recently under him.
12/17/2018 5:57:13 PM
Shug frazier is transferring. Hadn't been on the team roster for almost a month now, so not unexpected.
12/17/2018 7:42:49 PM
From what I've heard, USC fans seem to really hate him and everyone else thinks he's pretty good. Coached Eli Manning and Thad Lewis, Duke's all-time passing leader. Also reportedly a good recruiter.Unless I'm missing something, as long as he stays away from the offensive coordinator position, we should be fine.
12/17/2018 11:44:16 PM
USC just blames him for Bentley sucking. Honestly don't think it's the QB coaches fault, think they just had too high of expectations for that kid.

Meyers to the NFL
1/1/2019 12:04:14 PM
Good for him.KeB is probably mad that he didn't use up his eligibility. He's basically cheating us and isn't a team player. That will probably hurt his draft stock.
1/1/2019 4:11:29 PM
Actually I applaud him for finishing out the season with his team. He already knew going in that he was forgoing his senior season but did the honorable thing and finished the season with his teammates. Albeit he wasn't risking losing as much money as Harmon but still was risking injury. So yes.... good for him.On another note what's really sad is that we finished this season with an NFL caliber QB and two NFL caliber receivers who all will be taken in the draft and still just a 9 win season to show for it...
1/1/2019 5:09:37 PM
NFL backup caliber qb
1/1/2019 5:13:03 PM
I'll give you that. He is definitely not starting for a while in the NFL but has potential. Glennon 2.0
1/1/2019 5:17:04 PM
^^^"just a 9 win season"...like theyre so common place at nc state...lol. fuckers thinking we are georgia or alabama.Finley is overrated as fuck and will be backup in the nfl at best. If he has to start, its gonna be for a 4 win team who will be looking for their true qb in the draft.Put a legit QB with this offense and they would have walked all over the schedule we played. I still cant believe how incredibly bad he was in those "clutch" situations whete you need your qb to make a play. Basically failed every time.
1/1/2019 5:30:13 PM
1/1/2019 7:08:04 PM
We've got the formula now. Just apply it going forward. OOC Schedule.
1/1/2019 10:27:09 PM
1/1/2019 10:58:04 PM
He said legit QB, not whiny prima donna. We couldn't win anything of note with Philip Rivers, and I'd bet money that I won't see another QB anywhere near as good as him play for State in my lifetime. That's why I'm fine with 9 win seasons. Just please don't hype up the next noodle armed QB with a brain as a potential first round draft pick.]
