Last weekend I drove from LA to the Bay, and saw tons of Bernie bumper stickers and signs but none for any other candidate. Unless there are just a ridiculous amount of Hillary supporters in San Diego and Sacramento, I think he has a great chance out here.[Edited on April 17, 2016 at 1:19 PM. Reason : -]

Well I'm sold, the bumper sticker analysis sounds top notch

There is certainly a passion gap. I dont doubt there are hillary supporters out there but for whatever reason, they are not proud of it. I have a few theories which im sure both account for some people.1. Afraid of change-They like obama and just want to make sure nothing changes from the way it is now. They know a lot of people are rightfully angry so they dont want to come out and say they like the status quo2. Money driven-they are wealthy liberals who support the cause but font don't want to pay more taxes. This explains why young people who use public transportation end up woth the perception that 80% of all people support. As self proclaimed libeeals they dont want to expose themselves as anti-tax3. Apathetic- just going to vote for whoever the party rolls out but couldnt bother to put thought into it4.* im not saying this but a lot of bernie supporters say you dont see hillary supporters because they just dont exist and votes/polls are being fabricated. Theres all sorts of examples on youtube of people asking everyone in line who they supported only to see the results for that precinct come out different.[Edited on April 17, 2016 at 1:50 PM. i've seen the same thing in colorado. seen tons of bernie stickers and signs. maybe one hillary sign and a couple bumper stickers.that's probably why he ending up gaining delegates at the state convention yesterday.[Edited on April 17, 2016 at 2:39 PM. Reason : .]

There was a yuge checklist on reddit for bernie supporters to make sure their vote doesnt get thrown out in ny today
4/19/2016 9:28:35 AM
hmm. they must not have read it very carefully then
4/19/2016 10:15:30 PM
The people on reddit are not the typical voter. The typical voter isn't going to come armed with a repertoire of strategies to make sure they don't get their vote erased. Thats the point of rigging the election in the first place.
4/19/2016 10:26:33 PM
lol you think the people on reddit are typical voters
4/19/2016 11:12:07 PM
What?
4/19/2016 11:13:53 PM
misread it. apologiesinteresting words from tad devine via AP: campaign will see how it does in Penn, Md, Del, RI and CT and then "assess where we are."
4/19/2016 11:16:38 PM
Its probably time to endorse stein but I woulnd't be mad if he sticks it to them and goes all the way to contest the convention. It also buys time if Hillary suffers from sort of scandal or people find out what those criminals paid her 225,000 to say. [Edited on April 19, 2016 at 11:22 PM. Dumb vs dumb.Who will prevail?
4/20/2016 12:21:37 AM
I don't know how the timing could work out but if Cruz wins the convention and Trump runs independent, Bernie could easily run independent and be the overall favorite.
4/20/2016 12:34:59 AM
bernie will not run as an independent. give that one up.
4/20/2016 12:43:28 AM
If Trump runs third party, no reason for Sanders not too. He'd be screwing over the Greens more than anyone else, since it would finally be a chance for them to become relevant yet he'd steal the left-wing 3rd spotlight. But with a guarantee of no candidate getting to 270, it would be the craziest thing in American politics in 150 years. If there were any election cycle worthy of that kind of circus, this is it.
4/20/2016 2:23:12 AM
4/20/2016 9:50:52 AM
He's already said he has no interest because he doesn't want to steal votes from a democratic candidate and put a republican in office. if a major republican candidate ran 3rd party then maybe there is a potential, but nothing to date has shown that he has any interest to do so.
4/20/2016 10:19:34 AM
It would honestly be a sad thing to see.If he loses the nomination, the only thing to do would be to dump his money into downticket progressives as possible, including Greens and independents.[Edited on April 20, 2016 at 10:20 AM. Reason : .]
4/20/2016 10:20:37 AM
no one (except trump) who is trying to win the nomination would talk about alternatives to winning the nomination. You have to talk like you're going to win until you lose.
4/20/2016 3:32:22 PM
Okay, I'm a Sanders supporter, but you're a bit insane E Man.If Sanders runs in some kind of 4 way race (it won't happen), no one is going to hit 270 Electoral Votes meaning the House will pick the President.Ideally, I'd like to see Sanders stay in until the end, just in case Clinton's FBI troubles finally cause something that require her to pull out (they won't). Lets Sanders earn some good speaking time at the convention and maybe become a one term VP (might happen). [Edited on April 20, 2016 at 3:52 PM. Reason : a]

He should stay in til the end to get progressive delegates in the DNC. We can get our ideas in the party platform that way, since a lot of Hillary supporters agree with the most important ones.
4/20/2016 4:08:11 PM
4/20/2016 4:34:01 PM
^^The problem isn't getting progressive ideas into the democratic party. They've always talked about progressive ideas. The problem is that the democrats have no intention of doing the things they are talking about because these issues take a back seat to their corporate interests.
4/20/2016 4:54:06 PM
It is a problem actually. Read the current platform, it's watered down bullshit.

Susan Sarandon is annoying. I mean sure, I get it. I support Bernie too. But she comes off as a hack, and adds weight to that Bernie supporters not voting for Hillary thing.
4/21/2016 12:09:58 AM
Well, I hear there's a special place in hell for women who don't support other women.
4/21/2016 12:22:35 AM
A lot of bernie supporters were using the hashtags #HILLNO and #STILLSANDERS today
4/21/2016 2:05:14 AM
A lot of redditors have been calling non-Trump supporters cucks. If we are talking about nonsense here now.
4/21/2016 12:09:50 PM
except that still supporting sanders isn't nonsense
4/21/2016 12:16:29 PM
No but citing social media hashtags is.

No but here's something fun:https://www.reddit.com/r/SandersForPresident/comments/4fqo91/chicago_board_of_elections_audits_chicago_votes/
4/21/2016 1:08:34 PM
Good thing we have a Clinton delegate looking into the problems in NY then
4/21/2016 1:36:48 PM
I mean the guy has the right to vote and be a delegate if he wants, but if there is a conflict of interest like that, there should be another representative involved. One from each campaign maybe.
4/21/2016 1:55:07 PM
Thats just a perfect example that epitomizes how the democratic politicians operate. The perpetrators regulate themselves, slap themselves on the risk, and then boast about how they are champions of the people.

Hard to win when youre not on the ballot
4/27/2016 7:48:40 AM
lol you're a fucking idiot. that's not a real ballot. but good job not reading past the first post of a reddit thread.
4/27/2016 9:19:23 AM
He really is a caricature of R/politics.
4/27/2016 9:22:09 AM
i think the point of that ballot picture is to show how sleazy it is
4/27/2016 9:44:19 AM
lol no it's not. but 'splain some more, K?
4/27/2016 10:36:40 AM
i have no idea if that's why it was posted here, but that picture is obviously a voting guide but they went all sleazy trying to make it look like a full ballot
4/27/2016 10:38:31 AM
it was posted here because earl's dumbass thought it was an actual ballot, as evidenced by his later claim that bernie was kept off of ballots.they made it look like a ballot so people could go in to a voting booth and easily replicate the selections. these things are made for every election. they get mailed, they get handed out.if bernie actually gave a shit about down ticket elections, he'd make the same thing to hand out to his supporters. unfortunately, he's only concerned with his own campaigni'm sorry, but it's just not sleazy[Edited on April 27, 2016 at 11:19 AM. 4/27/2016 11:16:27 AM
i understand what voting guides are, and calling them an official ballot or sample ballot is sleazyi don't see where earl said he was left off the ballot, but i probably only read the same amount of his posts as yours
