Awesome! I think/hope it'll look sweet. I assume we're still going with the Block S at midfield.
8/29/2014 11:25:12 AM
Block S is in the picture.,
8/29/2014 11:29:14 AM
Yep. I also think there was an earlier picture showing a Block S in the endzone saying Wolfpack.
8/29/2014 11:30:20 AM
I think we should do the outline of NC with a block S inside for the middle of the field
8/29/2014 11:33:42 AM
^yeah on account of how this is our state
8/29/2014 11:40:00 AM
Does anyone know if you can leave cars overnight at Carter Finley and come back and pick them up Sunday afternoon?
8/29/2014 11:40:15 AM
This'll be the first Saturday I manage to sleep past 8. Gonna miss the whole game.[Edited on August 29, 2014 at 1:07 PM. Reason : But I'll be up for the Liberty Flames game.]
8/29/2014 12:59:50 PM
^^The Gameday guide doesn't say anything against it, but I'm checking with someone in the athletic department.

I know this will come off as petty bitching, but I wish they would make the gap between NC and State smaller. Maybe put block Ss on each side of NC and State to make it flow better.Otherwise the field looks great.
8/29/2014 4:11:18 PM
I love it, I think it looks great. Regarding the spacing, I don't mind a larger gap between "NC" and "STATE." They used to be a lot closer together and it looked like NCSTATE
8/29/2014 4:18:53 PM
I think it looks pretty damn classy
8/29/2014 4:28:56 PM
The first game is Wolfpack Club day, so the Block S in each endzone might be just for this game.
8/29/2014 4:39:06 PM
yeah the red endzones are sexy
8/29/2014 5:02:25 PM
hey y'all. Anyone know if the ACC app on Apple TV will have the game live? I'm living in Illinois and my sports center app says the game is on the ACC Network.

I don't know how they have UNC so far into the "powerhouse" realm, but whatever
8/30/2014 1:15:37 AM
idk but they got dat ick factor
8/30/2014 2:02:13 AM
How in the hell does a team like UF rank higher than us on the admired scale. Half the damn team would get arrested when Meyer was coach and they've created shit bags like Aaron Hernandez. UF is far from a clean program. Georgia too.

8/31/2014 1:22:03 AM
because we won?
8/31/2014 3:04:05 AM
Season's not over, but hopefully this kinda brought expectations back into reality. We were never a "darkhorse", our ceiling was 3rd in our division and 7 wins was being optimistic. We should still start 4-0 but FSU and Clemson are going to mash us.
8/31/2014 8:48:49 AM
I mean...our QB play is light years ahead of last year and I can't imagine any other positions on the team that could be worse than last year. We might still get to 7 wins.FSU should definitely smash us, but we were close to beating Clemson last year and they're definitely a little worse. Get a little pressure on that QB and he's toast (actually...same could have been said for Boyd).I just hope FSU doesn't embarrass us too much at home.
8/31/2014 9:12:57 AM
^If the Clemson game was at home, I might tend to agree with a chance, but no way we go to their place and win.
8/31/2014 10:29:10 AM
^yes i think we have a better chance of beating FSU than we do @Clemson

^^when was the last time we beat a nationally ranked team away from our home stadium? I can at least remember the last time we beat a nationally ranked team at home.
8/31/2014 12:10:27 PM
We beat #8 FSU in Tallahassee in 2005 (that one stands out ... might be a more recent one). Regardless, FSU is a much much better team that Clemson. Better athletes. better playmakers, and no questions at QB.[Edited on August 31, 2014 at 4:54 PM. Reason : ]

^^Probably some overrated UNC team.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raFWx7LksD4https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BwZfgLaIYAAJqwx.jpgI like the jerseys. Still don't like the eyes on the helmet. And that promo pic is a little disturbing.
8/31/2014 6:15:21 PM
I like all of it...
8/31/2014 7:26:33 PM
The jerseys look awesome to me...the helmets, sans the eyes, are cool. Could've been much worse. Too bad the game next week isn't on TV (is it?) though
8/31/2014 7:27:25 PM
pretty sure its an espn3 exclusive
8/31/2014 7:54:30 PM
well damn it, then.
8/31/2014 8:38:52 PM
Love em.
8/31/2014 11:07:18 PM
ODU gave up 400+ yards to an FCS team (only 9 yards rushing though).Should be a good game for our offense to keep building confidence.
8/31/2014 11:10:02 PM
Jerseys look good. I'd also really like to see us wear throwback uniforms/helmets once a season.

We had 9 different players make a catch and 6 different players rushed. I like how we're spreading things out, should help keep the players healthy and energized. G-So's defensive players were so worn out by the 4th quarter, don't know if that's from poor conditioning ont heir part or because our players were rotating so well. Probably a combination of both.
9/2/2014 3:58:28 PM
^I don't think they GSU have the full quota of 85 scholarship players.[Edited on September 2, 2014 at 6:28 PM. Reason : ]
9/2/2014 6:27:20 PM
^I'd say that's part of it, but basically with a team like GSU, their starters are usually a solid unit, but outside of those 11 guys on D, they're going to be rough. So the coaches tried to keep those 11 on the field as much as they could during the game, so mix in the crazy heat on Saturday with our pace and it meant a bunch of time on the field for that D. Just imagine how it would have gone had we played like that in the first half, they'd have been dropping in the 3rd quarter. Actually reminds me of the UNC/ODU game last year, ODU had a few guys on D suspended but UNC's pace had ODU players dropping like flies. The ODU coach actually had to request the 4th quarter be shortened to 10 minutes for fear of more injuries and lack of depth on D. (By the end of the game ODU was down 12 defensive players, 5 suspended before the game, 7 went down during the game)

USF's starting QB got hurt on the opening play last night & will have an MRI, but speculation is fractured forearm or wrist. That means they're down to a junior with career 40% completion percentage and 1:2 TD to INT ratio, a walk-on RS freshman, and a 3 star "dual-threat" true freshman. Can't wait to see which of those guys picks apart our D next week.Their top returning WR also sat our last night with an injury and may not play this weekend.[Edited on September 7, 2014 at 10:55 AM. They'll play the dual-threat QB and he'll run it down our throat.
