What happened ?

Just some typical Suarez shit - handball to control the ball and score to beat a 5th level team in the FA cuphttp://bit.ly/UwN9pk I'd post the gif but I'm on my phone[Edited on January 6, 2013 at 1:15 PM. Reason : .]
1/6/2013 1:08:18 PM
HahaYou mad, World?
1/6/2013 1:18:26 PM
Sounds like your battle is with the officials not Suarez

1/6/2013 1:34:44 PM
If the refs don't catch it and the cameras do, it doesn't make him any less of a cheat. Come on guy.
1/6/2013 1:36:28 PM
have fun in that replayBECAUSE WE'RE THROUGH TO THE NEXT ROUND ALREADY
1/6/2013 1:45:57 PM
Amazing how the refs favor Liverpool...
1/7/2013 2:17:52 PM
Hope this is real lmao http://fantasy.premierleague.com/my-leagues/264748/standings/

Slightly off topic, but is anybody else planning on attending the World Cup next summer? I was thinking about starting a thread for ticketing info, logistics, etc but didn't know if it was worth doing if no one else is going.
1/8/2013 9:37:33 PM
nah, too pricey for me. Which sucks, because I have no interest in going to 2018 or 2022 so it'll be awhile for the next chance to go to one. From what I remember reading in 2010, joining the Official US Supporters Club is your best bet to get in the lottery for tickets. It's a ridiculous $55/year and I guess keeping tabs on when the lottery starts/ends would be a good idea. I actually just joined that bullshit so I could make sure I could get tickets for the Azteca WCQ this year. I'll let you know if I ever get any WC ticket info in an e-mail or something.
1/9/2013 8:46:48 AM
^^me and a buddy are planning to go...make a thread!
1/9/2013 9:53:50 AM
Myself and some friends are also planning to go if we can get tickets.
1/9/2013 10:42:20 AM
i already have a place to stay in sau paulo (i think)
1/9/2013 10:46:09 AM
One hell of an effort today by Chelsea.
1/9/2013 6:09:24 PM
lol at the potential for a Swansea v. Bradford final with one of them going into the Europa League
1/9/2013 6:18:16 PM
I'm gonna try to go, but I'm not optimistic at finding tix being as this is going to be the last desirable destination World Cup for the next 12 years.
1/9/2013 9:52:38 PM
Jonathan LOLters for Stoke today - 2 OGs and a missed PK
1/12/2013 8:01:29 PM

1/13/2013 8:28:06 AM
Want Cazorla on a free, too? Arsenal pay salary?[Edited on January 13, 2013 at 8:51 AM. Reason : you know, since we are giving titles to manchester]
1/13/2013 8:50:47 AM
United beat Liverpool . And the refs ...
1/13/2013 10:36:56 AM
oh fuck offJohnson should've seen a 2nd yellow but that was super late in the game. Downing got a weak free kick but so did Van Persie in a much dangerous position. Officiating was a complete non factor don't be a whiny bitch even when you win games
1/13/2013 10:44:24 AM
Koscielny sent off for a rugby tackle in the box in the 9th minute.
1/13/2013 11:12:33 AM
what a shot by Milner.
1/13/2013 11:22:21 AM
And Milner with a sick first time finish to put City up 1-0.
1/13/2013 11:22:31 AM
Just got in. Saw 2-0 but didn't realize Koscielny was already sent off.Hey, maybe without Europe next year they can save their energy for the League Cup.
1/13/2013 11:34:41 AM
5th place still gets European football.
1/13/2013 11:54:29 AM
Good thing City are up a man because they are playing terribly.
1/13/2013 12:14:26 PM
Terrible, terrible red card for Kompany.
1/13/2013 12:34:28 PM
Not a red, but like the commentator said from where the ref was it did look two-footed.And, yeah, I know fifth gets Europa.
1/13/2013 12:57:38 PM
I see why it was given too but even when I watched it happen live at full speed it's clear that Wilshere, who was already on a yellow, is flying in there way more recklessly than Kompany. I thought it was a horrible card on top of a bad game for Dean anyway. He's a horrible referee.
1/13/2013 3:54:36 PM
if arsenal hadn't been down a man Dean probably wouldn't have sent Kompany off. also, Kompany was foolish going in like he did, lunging with both feet off the ground in a game that was 2-0 and his team was in control. koscielny red card or no, arsenal was going to lose that game.
1/13/2013 4:44:49 PM
Neither of Kompany's feet were really off the groundKoscielny's red:
1/13/2013 5:02:36 PM
um...they were both off the ground, pretty clear in the slow-mo gif. what's the deal with the koscielny gifs? that's pretty cut and dry. koscielny was the last man and he wraps both arms around dzeko's waist and brings him down...
1/13/2013 7:18:44 PM
His feet might have left the ground initially, but he had no forward momentum going and by the time he tackled the ball they were both back on the ground. His trailing leg didn't follow through or anything, Wilshere was just out of control and crashed into him.I don't think there's any controversy for Koscielny's card.
1/14/2013 6:51:19 AM
Kompany's red card overturned.
1/15/2013 10:46:39 AM
not EPL related but still
1/15/2013 3:42:29 PM
That super sunday was a bit of a let down really. Hate the name super sunday. Stop trying to make the sport more appealing to the American audiences sky sports.[Edited on January 15, 2013 at 10:44 PM. Reason : grammer ]
1/15/2013 10:43:56 PM
Huh? Super Sunday started in 1992. Why would Sky Sports care about American audiences? The channel isn't even distributed in the United States other than when some of its programming is carried through FSC.
1/15/2013 10:55:52 PM
Its an annoying reference really that I know many people haven't really used until recently (probably around 05-06). I know sky sports isn't broadcasted in America but it just seems tacky to refer to it as super sunday
1/15/2013 11:25:16 PM
Fuckin' Americans ruining everything
1/16/2013 8:44:04 AM
Haha. Americans are great, and have been great to me since I have come here. Its just the ignorant football masses that annoy me. Most on here seem fairly knowledgeable and I am liking how football is growing among the younger generation.
1/16/2013 11:46:14 AM
People who are just now getting into world football and the culture surrounding the sport are pretty annoying. But I think that's probably typical for pretty much any other sport as well.
1/16/2013 5:04:15 PM
The Triangle Gooners group was posted on the official Arsenal website, Facebook and Twitter. There's been like 60 new people joined to the group today hah. http://www.arsenal.com/usa/fanzone-usa/usa-supporters-club/raleigh-durham-nc
