This happened to Parks and Rec last year didn't it? If I'm not mistaken that shitty show Outsourced continued on for the rest of the season. We all know how that turned out.

Just replace Parks and Rec with Community and Outsourced with Whitney, and that's my hope for how things eventually play out.

why? the show still has a full season order so it will be back. Let NBC bomb a few more shows if they need to.

not to mention this show is 70 episodes in and produced by Sony. the same company that figured out a way to keep Til Death on the air in order to make 100 episodes and enter syndication.

I feel confident this show will receive Chuck-like treatment

I'm not buying the "Community will certainly get renewed because they need to get to 88 episodes for syndication" theory. Especially not if they continue to do CW level ratings when it comes back. Dan Feinberg (TV critic for Hitfix) said that ~70 episodes would probably be enough to sell into syndication.

I don't follow ratings, but what shows on Thursdays are beating Community?????? It doesn't make sense to me it should have so few viewers.

I did find some info in a quick Google search. Last season it fell just short of Lone Star's ratings...which was cancelled by Fox after 2 episodes.

Put in that perspective, I guess you gotta give NBC props for letting it go this long.
