I think they would switch Glasser and Abbott because of Lawson's quickness
Although I wonder how Boateng would matchup with Hansborough because I do agree that Pendergraph would get into foul trouble.

another thing i'd be worried about is that Derek backs the ball down the court on offense and Ty is a steal-master.

Derek is very good at limiting turnovers, but i think Ty would get 5 or 6 just because he's so quick on defense

that's where Ty and Derek would have to make their 3s

Harden with the dribble drive and kick-out

if the outside shots fall, they could crush ANY zone that they face

the amount of Herb dick riding in this thread is hilarious, especially after ASU shit the bed against USC in the second half...not to mention the kid who thinks they are going to dominate Carolina:

Quote :
"I think Pendergraph would match up well with Hansborough, Abbott could contain Lawson, Glasser shuts down Ellington, and Harden shits on Danny Green."

ahahahahaha, good one. We'll see if you "State fans" are still on the ASU bandwagon after they get their asses handed to them on the first weekend of the tourney.

I don't know if I'm not a full-fledged ASU fan, I've given all my heart to NC State athletics since Herb left and what have they done for me? They've given me a big, old fuck you.

Football won't be doing this to you (us) for much longer. TOB is about to have that program set. Basketball on the other hand, might be a while.

speaking of press....

that's really all Temple needs to do to upset ASU in the first round. when Floyd switched to a press in the 2nd half, Glasser and Kiksiks got rattled and there were like 6 turnovers in the first 5 minutes out of the locker room.

How is that a sense of entitlement? In a healthy relationship there is equal giving and taking. In this relationship I give and NC State takes, the only thing they give me is agita.

spoken like a true bandwagon fan. I like how instead of picking a team who you people actually have some kind of connection with to pull for, you pull for the coach who left us' new team...it's pretty pathetic, kind of like trying to be friends with a dude who stole your girlfriend.

dude are you retarded? It seems like you didn't even read anything I posted. I'm not bitching that he left the cupboard bare or that he left the university. If you had actually read any of my posts you would know that. I am saying that you people (yourself and ncstatetke as well as others) are pathetic for pulling for the school that our former coach left us for, especially since you have no connection to ASU whatsoever. It's obvious to me that you are a bandwagon fan since you jumped off the State bandwagon (probably sometime during last season) and onto the ASU bandwagon simply because they made a run in the Pac-10 tournament (only to shit the bed against USC).

sure he was, and the sky isn't blue and the ocean isn't salty. I like how you act like it is a fact that he was forced to leave and didn't choose to even though anyone who knows anything about NCSU athletics knows that he would never have been fired with Lee Fowler as our AD. You can keep arguing about Herb and whether we forced him out or he choose to leave, but most of us on here got over that shit years ago. I'm talking strictly about how pathetic it is to be a bigger fan of a coach that is no longer here than the university that you presumably attend, simply because they got to the tournament this year and we didnt.

They didn't make the tourney last year and I liked them then. Hell I even rooted for them when they won 8 games they year before. I've liked Herb ever since I attended school here, and when he left I still liked him. I don't put an ounce of blame on Herb for leaving because the way he was treated was ludicrous. While I continue to root for NC State, I will also continue to root for Sendek wherever he is a good coach and a good person. And with NC State at home for the upcoming tournament, ASU is the team I cheer for.

sure you did, that certainly explains why you didn't post in this thread until they won a few games in the Pac-10 tournament, and looked like they might win it this year.

what terrible fans we are for expecting to occasionally win an ACC championship and win more than 2 games in the NCAA tournament once in a while.

So you don't want to be a fan of the school you graduated from through thick and thin...only through thick...and when things get thin, you jump ship to some bandwagon school that you have zero ties to...you a big Florida State fan too? After all, Chuck Amato coaches there...hell, at least Amato actually went to State and cares about State...he had to get fired...he didn't QUIT for a school out west because he was too much of a little bitch to coach in the ACC

Ironically, three years later most of us would kill for that level of productivity out of NCSU basketball.

i'm sure he loved having fans that discussed boycotting games during tournament seasons, or who wore "FIRE HERB" shirts, or flyered cars at games telling people to go online and write letters to get him fired, or passed petitions around at games, or booed his introduction, or turned their back on THE TEAM when we weren't playing like a top 10 team, or called his radio show and told him to quit.

he totally should have manned up and rejected all that money if he was a true ubermensch.

shit, i dont want the guy back but i swear some people miss having him to kick around so bad. he was smart to leave.
