i thought in this thread somewhere someone copied and pasted what you needed...like a copy of the driver's license/id of the original buyer and the last 4 digits on credit cardyour best bet is to call them and see what they say
6/18/2007 11:15:00 AM
^ yea i was trying to find it (but i didnt get a lot of time ive been busy at work - minus the post i made ). but yea im going to call them probably on my lunch hour.
6/18/2007 11:34:27 AM
PS i just looked and that is under regular orange peel FAQ..and their SP specific FAQ seems to say this wont work..ill call em anyways.
6/18/2007 11:41:05 AM
lol worst case scenario, just get a fake id made using his name
6/18/2007 11:45:01 AM
^ lol. any specific person at the orange peel people talked to before? i was kind of busy at lunch today only got to call 2x but it seems like I need to actually just pick someone to talk to specifically to not be stuck with automated stuff. trying to see if someone talked to someone previously that was helpful

yea i just wrote her and, as politely as i could, told her that their policy is BS. I wont copy and paste the entire thing (/wall of text). But the biggest part was basically:

I had to email her about mine because I used my dads credit card for them since I dont have a real credit card to use, and they said I just need to have a copy of his ID, credit card and note saying im allowed to pick them up and it would be ok, but only because we are related and have the same last name, and its a pretty obscure last name, nothing like smith, so it wont be difficult to tell. I think only 3 other families (not related to me that we know of) have the same last name as us.
6/18/2007 2:44:57 PM
I don't mean to sound like a dick, but I don't think this policy is "BS" at all. For the most part, it completely fucks scalpers which is perfectly fine with me.That being said, I really hope CalledToArms gets in for the show b/c I know he was trying just as hard as I was to score tix.
6/18/2007 3:05:40 PM
i dont think youre being a dick at all, and i think most people would agree with you
6/18/2007 3:07:20 PM
thanks man, and no i dont really think its BS completely (unfortunately for them its near impossible to pick apart situations like mine and real scalpers) and you dont sound like a dick, i mean i understand what their purpose was for originally making this statement (to scare off scalpers). im just upset just like usual tho, greedy people gotta screw stuff up, and its always the 'regular' people that get screwed over because of it.[Edited on June 18, 2007 at 3:09 PM. "Doomsday Clock" is available on iTunes. And it's awesome.Along with some deal to preorder Zeitgeist with an exclusive bonus track and a code for a presale for tix for the still-unannounced full US tour.
6/19/2007 8:44:42 AM
ill have to grab that when i get home i guess
6/19/2007 8:50:01 AM
so we got the dvd of the rock am ring performance from german television, good stuff
6/19/2007 8:54:40 AM
i called them yesterday about the SP faq entry. they told me i couldnt even sell tickets to two people at the door. im going through a panic mode where i'm scared that finally seeing my favorite band of all time is somehow going to ruin it for me. does that make sense to anyone?
6/19/2007 9:41:14 AM
6/19/2007 9:42:36 AM
^^i have a feeling that if there's a will there's a way. they may just be playing tough for the scalpers.

6/19/2007 11:05:55 AM
if you go back a few pages, you'll see links to more than that one show, and comments on their qualities[Edited on June 19, 2007 at 11:50 AM. Reason : page 17]
6/19/2007 11:48:27 AM
the rock am ring one is the best because it's taken from the soundboard...the dvd version of it is great (hdtv quality)
6/19/2007 12:20:10 PM
thanks guys--- I knew y'all probably had it all covered, but I didn't have much time at work to go back thru the thread.I'll definitely check the Rock Am show out.
6/19/2007 12:34:38 PM

6/19/2007 7:06:55 PM
^ hahaha, now there's an ideaI totally forgot about those in my email.

hxxp://www.zshare.net/download/2343288dc3577c/here's Doomsday Clock for those that want to download it. It will begin to play when you visit the page, but you can download it by clicking the link above the media player.Fucking sick song, I'm digging the first two tracks I've heard thus far.
6/19/2007 7:54:47 PM
wow.I think "Tarantula" is a FAR better song. that was relatively boring, musically. Very.
6/19/2007 10:07:20 PM
yeah i like tarantula better too, but still sounds like it oughta be a good album.doomsday clock is a cool song though.edit: actually i think i changed my mind, i think i like doomsday clock better[Edited on June 20, 2007 at 3:12 AM. Reason : ]
6/20/2007 3:06:28 AM
i like tarantula a lot better, but it should still be a good album
6/20/2007 9:17:42 AM
I honestly don't like either of them... have I outgrown the pumpkins? I'm so skeptical about this album...
6/20/2007 9:27:32 AM
i think is album is going to be #4 in line.....1. siamese dream2. gish3. mellon collie (although if you compile 2 disks into 1 GREAT disk this could be 2)4. zeitgeistim basing this off of everything ive heard on the new able from the live shows...
6/20/2007 9:29:34 AM
Doomsday Clock is really really too polished for me, vocalwise. There' one part in there where it just FEELS like there should be a strained scream, and it's wholly disappointing. the music is meh, too.Tarantula is fucking incredible. Great guitar work.
6/20/2007 12:53:08 PM
^^, man... am I the only one that thinks that Adore is a fucking great album?I'm probably going to get killed for this, but I put Adore over Gish and damn close to Siamese Dream. I loved that album."Tear", "Ava Adore", "Annie Dog", "Behold! The Night Mare", "Pug", etc etc etc. That was such an underrated album.
6/20/2007 12:55:51 PM
No, I love Adore.
6/20/2007 12:57:58 PM
I also adore adorefor me its (top 5):1. Mellon Collie2. Siamese Dream3. Adore4. Gish5. MachinaI have a feeling zeitgeist will take the #4

6/20/2007 4:59:07 PM
there is no way mayonaise should be that lowthat song is perfect in every single way
6/20/2007 5:05:21 PM
it's all subjective, mang. Honestly, once you get past #11, they're all really damn close for me. "Mayonaise" is a fantastic song though, as is "Crush"... it was hard having both of those come in that low on my list.I would like to see other folks lists if they have time.
6/20/2007 5:07:45 PM
too hard to do a list like this. quiet and geek usa are 2 of my favorite songs, but of course i loved every song on your list too heh
6/20/2007 5:08:50 PM
6/20/2007 5:13:29 PM
