I mainly stick to a max of 225lbs during regular benching.135x12 155x12 180x10 210x8 225x8 225x8 and it has worked well for me.I also tend to exhaust my triceps on these days, too.

have you tried benching in a different pair of shoes? something like a pair of combat boots where you can't arch your foot?if you're only doing it with one leg, I'd be inclined to think either your torso wasn't square on the bench or that you have one leg shorter than the other.

I rarely take pictures when I'm on a bulking phase; they just make me more prone to being wishy-washy about whether to cut or bulk.I start cutting next week though, so I'll probably take some before and after pictures. Right now I'm hovering around 265, and I'd like to cut down to about 235 by the end of the year.

I just finished applying the first coat of paint to my bench and weight set. hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to put on the second coat and have the weights ready to rack by Tuesday.I'll take pictures when I finish. hopefully the red and white color scheme turns out OK.

I finished painting the lettering on my weights tonight, so hopefully everything will be dry enough tomorrow for me to rack them and start lifting. Now all I need to do is find a crafts store that sells vinyl fabric in NC State red, or ideally with either wuffie or the block S logo on it. I would love to get the retro Wuffie, because having the mascot puffing out his chest would be perfect for a bench cover.I should have just enough paint left over to do both 100lb plates whenver I get the chance to go home and get them. I need to build a deadlifting platform before I start using them anyway, so it's no rush.

I just ran a combined four or so miles today between the elliptical and the treadmill.I probably shouldn't lift for a while, since my forearms are all fucked up, though ibuprofen seems to be doing wonders for getting the (what I understand in inflamation) down. Once they're all back to normal I'll have to start doing a bunch of forearm exercises though
