I'm an independent. On level I've still voted for Democrats far more than Republicans. I voted third party in 2016. I do not identify as "republican". Independents are still a demo and subject to the same propaganda forces as everyone else.

I would prefer not to live in a world with heavy handed ICE or any other agents making mistakes with itchy trigger fingers, but I understand that some people voted that way. It's a tradeoff. The tradeoff was get rid of the 3 million people that came in the last 3 years and clean up the shit and needles off the street. If you didn't want people to get so mad they voted for gestapo, probably don't do that.

Apparently, the shooter agent was drug by a car and sustained injuries over the summer, so you can see how he would have more reason than a standard officer to believe his life was in danger.

I'm not sure what moron means though, because even though we have our own little corner of the Internet, people clearly bring outside troll garbage in? Often times threads here look like any other thread of comments under a random controversial Facebook post.

My question looking at the last page would simply be, why isnt there more analysis here and less emotion? And why does it seem to be ridiculed to ask for less emotion? Obviously its okay to be upset over tragic events but isnt it problematic for that to be the only thing you have?

There are a couple other video angles that havent been discussed here at all, and tragically, one of them is going to be wholly responsible for this agent not being charged at all. Instead, per usual, its just another thread of people screaming "nazi, maga, musk N trump."
