I wish WJZY would show these local Thursday games like they do Panthers preseason games. Us plebians can't afford NFL network.

Get youtube tv and find 2 other people to share it with…only like 23/month split evenly
9/23/2021 8:40:53 PM
If you are local, you can download the yahoo sports app and stream it fo free (but not over wifi), or the nfl app which will let you use WiFi[Edited on September 23, 2021 at 9:05 PM. Reason : $$$]

lol Joey Slye
9/23/2021 9:37:45 PM
Without McCaffrey panthers suck and Sam plays like he did as a Jet.
9/23/2021 9:39:13 PM
^^lol, yup[Edited on September 23, 2021 at 9:39 PM. Reason : $$$]
9/23/2021 9:39:14 PM
The offense is definitely less threatening and more predictable without McCaffery which makes the O-Line worse
9/23/2021 9:42:44 PM
Thanks, Money_Jones!Though it took a downturn when I tuned in.
9/23/2021 9:55:10 PM
The refs tonight are awful
9/23/2021 10:01:51 PM
you must be as conflicted in this game as when your Saints plays your Texans
9/23/2021 10:44:21 PM
Perhaps i am tired, but I’m not black a texans fan, if that is what you are referring to
9/23/2021 10:46:34 PM
Jaycee Horn broken foot
9/23/2021 10:59:08 PM
Weird, it's almost like there are always more injuries on Thursday night games.
9/23/2021 11:03:11 PM
^Its almost like 4 days isn’t enough time. I thought these people were “athletes” wtf
9/23/2021 11:18:00 PM
I quite enjoy having an aggressive GM who goes for high upside/youth over the flashy signing of an elderly corner[Edited on September 27, 2021 at 12:07 PM. Reason : .]
9/27/2021 12:06:51 PM
Yeah the Richard Sherman noise was enticing but I'm excited about Henderson. Most people seem to believe his 'injuries' this year stem from not wanting to play in Jacksonville.
9/27/2021 12:09:46 PM
If he's even halfway competent, this trade will be highway robbery.
9/27/2021 12:11:16 PM
devastating news for dudes who in the booth who couldn’t get enough, “har har there’s that vaunted Darnold-to-Arnold connection har har”, though
9/27/2021 12:38:14 PM
10/3/2021 2:10:59 PM
Regardless of that terrible 'forward progress' no fumble call, the Panthers will continue to look mediocre at best as long as our o line is swiss cheese
10/4/2021 7:38:52 AM
Stephon Gilmore for a 6th rounder
10/6/2021 1:23:29 PM
Panthers gonna have a whole defense full of cornerbacks
10/6/2021 3:13:28 PM
Has his skills diminished that much since a few years ago winning DPoY?
10/7/2021 12:33:50 AM
NE had no cap room, Gilmore wouldn't renegotiate his contract and isn't eligible to play until after week 6. He's going to be a free agent after this season, so by trading him now the Patriots get immediate cap room to sign/trade for other positions of need (before the trade they were only like $50k below the cap.) It's projected that if he leaves as a free agent, the team (Panthers now) will receive a 5th round compensatory pick, so NE is essentially trading back one round in the draft to free up over $5 million in cap space right now.For the Panthers it works out because they have tons of cap space and will either sign Gilmore to an extension (not very likely) or get him as a rental and turn a 6th round pick into a 5th solely by using a little bit of unused cap space.
10/7/2021 2:19:41 AM
What makes you think it's not very likely? Most discussion about it I've heard indicates he didn't want to go somewhere new without some sort of hope for a new contract extension. Otherwise monetarily what's the difference between being on the Panthers or the Pats?
10/7/2021 8:10:16 AM
From what I read he agreed to play here without the extension, and wants something pretty big for his next contract (like $15M?). We've got Horn, CJ Henderson, Bouye, and STO under contract for next year if we keep them all. DJax will be a UFA, as will Gilmore.. I can't imagine bringing them both back and Jackson would be cheaper I'd guess
10/7/2021 9:23:40 AM
For Gilmore, there's no difference. But it's also not likely that the Panthers are gonna give a big money extension to a guy coming back from a serious injury who is also on the wrong side of 30.It doesn't really matter what Gilmore wanted, as he has no leverage regarding the trade. I think both he and the team will be happy to have him play out the last ~9 weeks of the season to prove he is healthy and then hit free agency. Not saying they won't attempt to sign him then, just think that is the most likely scenario.
10/7/2021 9:31:22 AM
Are there any NFL streaming sites this year? All the stuff I watched last year must have been cracked down on
10/10/2021 1:48:38 PM
Lol Panthers offense sucks so bad
10/10/2021 4:00:19 PM
one of the worst losses in yearsjust awful
10/10/2021 4:12:52 PM
No second half adjustments... killed us here, and the Cowboys. Defense gets gassed in the second half and then it's only a matter of time. How many straight 3 and outs did we end the game with? 5? Can't win doing that. O line needs help bad.
10/11/2021 8:06:56 AM
I mean they didn't address the OL in the draft or in free agency (signing 2 of the absolute worst linemen in the NFL doesn't count), not sure why anyone expected the OL to be ok when your #1 OL includes Cam Erving and Pat Elflein.
10/11/2021 10:34:08 AM
Oh no, don't get me wrong, I'm not even remotely surprised our o line is cheeks. Also, to re-state the obvious, seehttps://twitter.com/panthernationpc/status/1447554441410928641?s=21
10/11/2021 7:50:32 PM
Moton also had at least 2 penalties, though he's not playing at his normal position. Christensen will get better with more experience. Paradis is pretty trash.
10/11/2021 8:13:21 PM
Should the Panthers go after a top draft pick in 2022 or try to propose a trade for a good free agent, to replace Darnold in 2022/2023?
10/17/2021 2:19:22 PM
this offense is so bad[Edited on October 17, 2021 at 4:20 PM. Reason : except for Ian Thomas ]
10/17/2021 4:19:56 PM
Sorry, Sam. We'll get you some receiver hand transplants too.
10/17/2021 4:27:23 PM
this game has been hilarious
10/17/2021 4:29:13 PM
Showing it on tv here
10/17/2021 4:35:42 PM
I don't even know what to think about this team
10/17/2021 4:50:02 PM
10/18/2021 7:28:52 AM
^ Pretty much. Can't adjust at the half, we had like 5 easy balls bounce of the receivers chest, split pretty evenly between DJ and Robby. Doesn't matter what Sam looks like if they can't catch his decent throws.Coords tried to mask the lack of o line with lots of screens and runs, it worked pretty well but also the Vikings are some of the worst pass rushers in the league (no. 23) and run stopping (no. 30). So it didn't work against that? Yikes
10/18/2021 9:00:33 AM
I’ve heard plenty of former players say that the concept of adjusting at half is laughable and not something that happens
10/18/2021 11:01:37 AM
Panthers have been outscored 48-14 in the 3rd quarter, and half our 14 was the blocked punt this week. not sure what else explains that
10/18/2021 12:33:28 PM
Gano killing us
10/24/2021 3:43:41 PM
getting worse by the weekalways a good sign
