Hayward was on fire tonight, 44 points, new career high. And another big game by Melo; He is clearly the best of the Ball brothers. He is nowhere near a finished product, but playing the way he has been playing at 19 years old, he is the real deal. Also shut down one of the best offenses in the leagues tonight in Atlanta. Trae Young had a bad game but I also wonder if the officiating was trying to punish him for his bullshit up the back foul drawing. Most annoying basketball since Harden.]

still waiting on graham to get out of this slump. but yeah, ball is looking like the real deal.
1/7/2021 6:43:21 AM
I told y'all Ball was the right choice at 3. FRANCHISE
1/7/2021 10:58:41 AM
Ball is going to play half-assed for 2 years and express his disgruntlement with CLT (with the help of daddy). He'll then go to a major market team, play a little harder, and win comeback player of the year.

^^ Best pick since Kemba Walker? We use the 3rd pick to choose him, so definitely want him to carry the team on the shoulder for the next 5 yrs at least. Jordan and Mitch won't let him go. Also I can't believe Kemba wasn't got picked until the ninth round back in 2011. A solid PG needs luck to acquire.BTW, Magic is doing very well so far this season, like the Heat of last yr. Clifford proves he's still a good coach. His leaving is not by his fault.

1/8/2021 11:02:26 AM
I know it's kinda early, but is Lamelo the GOAT?
1/8/2021 11:24:41 AM
Just as Justin predicted, LaMelo is the goat.
1/8/2021 12:06:22 PM
he's the GBBOAT
1/8/2021 1:04:27 PM
Ball just has *it* .... and lots of of it. I wasn't a fan of the pick -- I was hoping for Okongwu -- but I was wrong[Edited on January 8, 2021 at 1:30 PM. Reason : LaMelo has it, that is. Not Lonzo. And definitely not Jello or whoever the hell the other one is.]
1/8/2021 1:29:18 PM
To me he's another Kemba Walker, a little bit like Stephen Curry.
1/8/2021 2:19:34 PM
Looks like he’ll finish 1 assist shy of a triple double. Strong second half from the Hornets to come back and beat the Pels.
1/8/2021 10:03:46 PM
New Orleans was up almost 20 points for most of the 2nd quarter, that was a great comeback and win in the 2nd half
1/8/2021 10:33:42 PM
btw, Graham finally had a good shooting night, but other than his shooting this year, he hasn't been a bad player overallhttps://www.teamrankings.com/nba/player-stat/assist-to-turnover-ratio]

1/9/2021 8:52:55 PM
1 board and 1 assist to go
1/9/2021 8:59:58 PM
i think just 1 assisthe has definitely earned more playing time but i'm not so gung ho about him starting immediately. there is something to be said about him bringing energy off the bench. and if he ends up getting 30-something minutes per game, i don't really care about if he's in the game the first few minutes of the 1st Quarter. plus Borrego is a Popovich disciple, and Ginobili came off the bench for 2/3 of his career and did just fine[Edited on January 9, 2021 at 9:05 PM. Reason : and i was just as against the draft pick as anyone, but man, this guy is special]
1/9/2021 9:02:56 PM
Yeah you’re right, 1 assist. And he got it as I was typing. But I agree with the rest of what you said too.Hornets draft success has been awful. It’s partly bad luck. And partly self inflicted. But theyve finally got a guy that can help attract FA talent to come to Charlotte. He gives people outside of the fan base a reason to care about the Hornets. Maybe he flames out. But his ceiling is something the hornets have been missing (or have never had). He has actual super star potential and he’s somebody you can actually build around. That hasn’t been true for pretty much any other draft pick. And to be clear, Im not ready to crown him or anything. It’s 10 games into his career. But the potential is there for something Charlotte hasn’t had...[Edited on January 9, 2021 at 9:12 PM. Reason : A]
1/9/2021 9:06:50 PM
I'm glad you guys have finally came around to the hornets picking ball
1/9/2021 9:28:47 PM
should've listened to justin earlier
1/9/2021 9:37:24 PM
Got excited for them now. They have a chance to be back to the playoff after 5 yrs.
1/11/2021 7:40:34 AM
1/10 from the field. 0/4 from 3. Justin was right. Lamelo sucks.
1/11/2021 9:02:33 PM
Stephen Curry was 2/16 from the field last night. GSW should have passed on him
1/11/2021 9:33:09 PM
^(just to be clear, i was making a joke about lamelo)
1/12/2021 6:44:33 AM
Ball ROY? Best rookie since Alonzo Mourning in franchise history.
1/13/2021 12:54:24 PM
it's very early, but he seems to be the current leader for ROY
1/13/2021 2:05:02 PM
Lamelo is the betting favorite. Tyrese Halliburton is up there too. But yeah. Very early for that
1/13/2021 2:37:45 PM
If he can bring Hornets to the playoffs, he is gonna win. He has to be selected to the Rising Star roster in All-Star Games first. That will secure his spot in rookie 1st team probably.
1/13/2021 3:02:48 PM
What’s up with Malik Monk? Does he just suck?
1/13/2021 3:51:17 PM
He is in Borrego's doghouse for some reason.
1/13/2021 5:16:58 PM
Gotcha. He got a minute of mop up duty last night but that’s...well, mop up duty.
1/14/2021 7:15:13 AM
1/14/2021 9:10:38 AM
just got screwed by a no-call on a 3 to tie at the buzzer
1/16/2021 10:02:10 PM
TreeTwista10 exposed?[Edited on January 22, 2021 at 10:53 AM. Reason : Back in action tonight vs Chicago after a week off. Playoffs here we come]
1/22/2021 10:51:05 AM
I don't think I ever had a blue Gerald Wallace jersey
1/22/2021 7:35:26 PM
Gordon Hayward scored 39pts last night including a buzzer-beating layup. This is his team now.
1/25/2021 8:45:09 AM
JB the coach has some serious issues using Ball. IMO Ball's minutes should be doubled. Treat him like Stephen Curry or Kemba Walker, then see what happens. We have the best rookie in the league but dunno how to use him, and see the team is falling far far behind.
1/28/2021 10:16:15 AM
Ball needs to learn to play at a more controlled pace. Ill-advised jumpers, overly aggressive passes that lead to turnovers, etc are not going to double his minutes.]
1/28/2021 2:57:06 PM
Nice wins over Indiana last night and Milwaukee tonight. And Rozier hurt his ankle at the end of the first half, so we might see a starting backcourt of Ball and Graham if Terry misses any time.also Cody Zeller made Giannis his bitch[Edited on January 30, 2021 at 10:36 PM. Reason : .]
1/30/2021 10:31:21 PM
^^ stop hating on lamelo
1/30/2021 11:08:56 PM
1/30/2021 11:31:05 PM
^He hit Greek Freak's guts badly. The freak couldn't finish the game and quit early, then we won. What a story!LaMelo got the minutes he deserved. He could start next game if Rozier still doesn't recover. I see a superstar is rising. He's Charlotte's Trae Young already.
1/31/2021 3:03:06 PM
Comeback win over Miami in OT. Malik balled out.
2/2/2021 4:53:19 AM
Monster monk last night. He's JB's greatest discovery.
2/2/2021 8:14:37 AM
6th in the East already, 18th in power ranking of the whole league. Tonight's game vs Jazz can tell us how far this team can go.
2/5/2021 12:12:51 PM
That shitty Cody Zeller meme cracks me up every time I click this thread.
2/5/2021 1:06:39 PM
Rozier probable tonightAlso, did someone say Cody Zeller meme?
2/5/2021 1:35:52 PM
I did not know Cody Zeller memes were a thing. But I enjoy these a lot.
2/5/2021 3:11:22 PM
Cody is the only veteran on the roster since Bobcats and coach Steve's era already. Others are all got traded and gone.[Edited on February 5, 2021 at 4:08 PM. Reason : It's business]
