Just watched it last night. I remember when it happened, and it was portrayed as just as much of a shitshow then as the documentary makes it seem. Except back then you didn't hear, or at least I didn't hear, of the amount of sexual assault that took place.

It boggles my mind that on Sunday night, the police weren't brought in sooner, en masse, to shut the thing down. It should have been shut down Saturday, but when the fires started...wtf?

And it also boggles my mind as to how defiant Bob Scher, the organizer, still is.

I had really really low expectations coming into Peacemaker, and was completely blown away.

I can sit there and just watch the intro over and over again.

I feel like just about the entire show is improvised, and it's great.

Only watched the first episode of Peacemaker so far but it was great. I'm glad that DC is going more towards a lighthearted approach. Kinda wild that this is in the same universe as the Snyder movies. Would be interesting to see if Peacemaker actually shows up in any future movies with the big heroes.

So Tyler told the Symphony that the Museum of Civilization was very bad - held people, etc. I didn't see any of that. While Clark mentioned to Elizabeth that they may need to hold the Symphony captive, and it sounded somewhat commonplace, I didn't see any captives other than while the Symphony while they were quarantining.

So were they really bad or was Tyler just making that up?

^i think it was a mixture. Tyler did think they were evil due to the killing of the alive plane traveler, and the subsequent quarantine, which kind of defined his life. Clark did also say they couldn’t be allowed to leave due to the post pandemic agoraphobia he’d developed. What I don’t really get is how the (maybe manager?) guy with a European accent that left on the plane somehow returned with no accent and no memory

I'd love to see an expansion on it regarding other locations, with the same mellow yet upbeat tones as the original. I doubt we'll get one though since it was billed as a limited series.
