I honestly feel like he is trying to minimize conflict with Trump during these briefings. Could you imagine the shit show if he went up and directly discredited the claims Trump made?

I've seen/heard other interviews he's given, and he's been great there and said things like "the evidence does not support (whatever claim Trump made)" without saying Trump's name directly.

He is really in a sticky situation right now. How do you keep the public informed without pissing off the president and risk not being able to keep the public informed?

regarding health though, gloves don't help prevent the spread unless you're a doctor or nurse who is likely coming into contact with, and touching people with covid. for your simple ass, you're just putting the grocery store door handle germs and spreading them around to whatever you probably touch more often with the perceived safety of gloved hands. just wear a mask to the store to severely limit the chances you spread the virus, and to a lesser extent prevent the chances you get it in the first place. wear gloves if the cdc, or a doctor who isn't an omg supposed trump puppet recommends it.
