What a snooze fest
9/5/2019 10:41:51 PM
Yup
9/5/2019 11:15:20 PM
Bears traded up to draft Trubisky, never forget
9/5/2019 11:29:00 PM
What's most important though is that people call him Mitchell and not Mitch.
9/6/2019 7:29:14 AM
AB released. Gotta say I didn't see that coming a few months ago. Bet the steelers are downright giddy
9/7/2019 12:00:28 PM
Curious to see how many teams are desperate to have a diva WR that we haven't seen since the likes of Terrell Owens.
9/7/2019 12:41:26 PM
I hope he plays for the patriots
9/7/2019 1:45:26 PM
you got your wishthough i guess he hasn't technically played yet
9/7/2019 5:12:56 PM
9/7/2019 6:02:09 PM
^The cynical side of me almost thinks that was kinda his game plan. Play for a overrated coach with an overrated QB, or play for one of the best coaches, in division that gives you 2 opportunities to go against old team that I don’t think he particularly likes, and with a goat qb
9/7/2019 6:31:12 PM
Look, I hate the Patriots, but you can't call Belichick "one of the best coaches". He is the best. Ever. And it's really not close.
9/7/2019 6:33:54 PM
I don’t disagree. Thought proclaiming both as goat would be more divisive than just picking one and saying the other is one of the best.Bummer AB can’t play week 1. Not that he probably would have anyways.[Edited on September 7, 2019 at 6:51 PM. Reason : No AB week 1 ]
9/7/2019 6:47:55 PM
I hope he sues the Raiders and gets awarded the $29 million in guaranteed money they withheld. He could make the case that the organization has been a circus for years and that his antics were all part of the show for them.
9/7/2019 7:13:23 PM
Nope. First of all he can't sue them. Second, he would get laughed out of a courtroom.
9/7/2019 7:34:33 PM
I hope the Patriots get exposed for blatant tampering. But like every other crime they've committed, it'll all fade away as they win another super bowlThey started the preseason with an injured Edelman and rookies as their receivers and now have Edelman, Brown and Gordon. Fuck them man
9/7/2019 9:12:43 PM
I don't see how you would prove tampering. Every halfway decent GM should have already decided days ago what they were willing to offer AB and put in a call to his agent as soon as he was released.
9/7/2019 9:35:13 PM
^^^^haha, good one...”he could make the case”...haha
9/8/2019 1:17:26 AM
Lamar Jackson is a golden god
9/8/2019 3:46:59 PM
Good news, the browns suck again
9/8/2019 4:17:36 PM
Good Lord the chargers LT is awful. He is singlehandedly going to get Rivers killed this year.[Edited on September 8, 2019 at 6:12 PM. Reason : Otherwise this is a really good game between 2 of the 3 best QBs in recent ncsu history]
9/8/2019 6:02:55 PM
If Dalton gets hurt we'd have two State QB vs State QB games today
9/8/2019 6:14:34 PM
Yeah but that one would not be as good.
9/8/2019 6:26:04 PM
Austin Ekeler doing his best James Connor
9/8/2019 7:10:02 PM
AB now accused of raping a former fellow college student and non-consentually ejaculating on her back.
9/10/2019 10:10:30 PM
Ejaculating on her back without consent seems pretty minor. Compared to the non consensual rape part.
9/10/2019 11:19:38 PM
No way he plays this season now.Either Pats will release him or he will be put on Commissioners exempt list until this has played out. A couple of things though don't add up. How did she allow this to happen on 3 separate occasions? Why didn't you file criminal charges after the 2018 incident? Not saying none of this happened but it seems like this is cash grab and to ruin a scorned lover's life especially with the timing of this coming out, reading complaint it was only filed yesterday.
9/11/2019 8:30:12 AM
To answer one of your questions.
9/11/2019 9:25:12 AM
Who knows what is or isn’t true. But calling something like this a “cash grab” seems absurd to me. We all know there are just thousands and thousands of women getting rich off false accusations.
9/11/2019 10:17:08 AM
It's 2019 and someone is still asking "how did this woman allow herself to be raped" cool
9/11/2019 11:10:13 AM
^ yup
9/11/2019 12:23:16 PM
^^yes, when it's supposedly happened multiple times over the course of a year, and the last time after you supposedly invited yourself to go to the strip club with the guy and then went back to his place.[Edited on September 11, 2019 at 12:51 PM. Reason : non-consentually ejaculating on her back sounds like she's mad he pulled out.]
9/11/2019 12:50:08 PM
jesus fucking christ
9/11/2019 12:53:07 PM
9/11/2019 1:11:01 PM
Sorry that some of you don't think women falsely accuse men of rape. It does happen. The timing seems suspect. The lack so far of a criminal complaint for the forcible rape accusation, the lack of an amount for monetary damages in the civil suit, and the fact that the public perception based on his antics in relation to his career in the NFL seem well timed. I am not saying what was alleged did not happen. I have no doubt that he will be placed on Commissioner's exempt list until this is resolved. If he loses this civil case he probably should never be allowed to play in NFL again.
9/11/2019 1:30:17 PM
Have false accusations of sexual assault ever been made? Of course. They also make up a tiny percentage of all accusations, which doesn’t even take into account the assaults that go unreported. Let’s quit acting like it’s some epidemic.
9/11/2019 2:26:44 PM
We should play Alabama 4 times a year, at a minimum.
9/11/2019 3:11:11 PM
We = the NFL?
9/11/2019 4:58:06 PM
Dammit how did I post this in the wrong thread?Epic fail. I hope a sports mod doesn't suspend me.
9/11/2019 5:59:57 PM
The problem is the mere accusation whether true or not is enough to ruin the accused's life regardless of guilt or innocence. The legal process should be allowed to play out. Rightly or Wrongly the NFL has appointed Roger Goodell as the Judge, Jury and Executioner and he can put players on the Exempt list. Now if the Patriots want to be rid of the headache they can just release him, of course he will still get his guaranteed money. I just know regardless of his ability to play football I wouldn't want him on the Panthers.

9/12/2019 9:01:31 AM
From what we know so far, it does appear likely to me that they were in some sort of relationship. If that's the case, why haven't associates close to AB come out publicly to claim that they were somehow involved? If he was bangin his trainer on the side, then surely some of his buddies would have know about that.Another big question that I have with the AB summer fiasco is that Ab calls his GM a kracker, and nobody even pauses to discuss it.However, if the GM had called him the Nword, the entire NFL would prolly shut down until the proper people involved were appropriately punished.Could somebody explain this to me?[Edited on September 12, 2019 at 11:45 AM. Reason : k]
9/12/2019 11:41:51 AM
the "cracker" thing was definitely part of the 24 hour news cycle. it was also disputed...so it may not have even happened. and 2) don't fucking compare "cracker" to the word you can't even spell out.[Edited on September 12, 2019 at 12:52 PM. Reason : f]
9/12/2019 12:51:11 PM
yeah but I am a kracker. And so derogatory, racial slurs are meant to be taken on context? I am just not really understanding the disparity here. [Edited on September 12, 2019 at 12:59 PM. Reason : a]
9/12/2019 12:58:29 PM
You don’t understand that the N word is worse than cracker?
9/12/2019 1:13:07 PM
You got BanjoMan'd
9/12/2019 1:25:50 PM
lollllllll
9/12/2019 1:37:42 PM
I just can’t resist dammit.
9/12/2019 1:38:16 PM
So then it's ok for a racial minority to use a racial slur against a white person, but it's not ok for a white person to use a racial slur against racial minorities. Shouldn't they both be inexcusable?[Edited on September 12, 2019 at 1:41 PM. Reason : this just seems like a fair and practical question.]
9/12/2019 1:40:11 PM
Next he's gonna ask "WHY ISN'T THERE A WHITE ENTERTAINMENT CHANNEL??"
9/12/2019 2:17:53 PM
I feel like a few more pages and we'll have this whole "race relations" thing all sorted out. Hey, there's football tonight.
