^I Looked and if I counted correctly we now are 9-18-0 vs FSU since they joined the ACC. Clemson has 10 wins vs FSU in that time. Everyone else has less.

We won by 3 possessions. The game was kinda never in doubt. I don’t care that fans/students cleared out early.
11/5/2018 11:17:11 AM
if students won't stay for the game the number of seats should be reduced or more of them moved back to the upper deck. this isn't the only game that student sections have been empty after half. 100 degree noon games early in the season deserve a lot of the blame but not all of it. yes we won by 3 possesions but FSU was still plenty in the game for much of the second half[Edited on November 5, 2018 at 11:26 AM. Stupid question, as I have been out of the game for some time now. Are students permitted "pass outs" at halftime to return?
11/5/2018 11:45:51 AM
everybody can leave and return
11/5/2018 11:48:11 AM
yeah but the students are definitely not the only people leavingjust end the pass outs.

Maybe I'm a bad fan, because I usually walk-out at half time. And by the time we walk to the car grab a beer, and walk back to the stadium, it's usually already several minutes (or halfway) into the 3rd quarter. I'd be pretty pissed if they ended pass outs...
11/5/2018 12:44:09 PM
^^our offense was also pretty unstoppable. It wasn't a blowout at half time but do you really think Pack fans were nervous? I wasn't...Anyway, to pile on about the offense from last page, apparently this was the first time this year that fsu gave up a 100 yd rusher.
11/5/2018 12:50:43 PM
i'm not saying people that go out at halftime and come back late or don't come back are bad fans. i don't care how you enjoy the game. you spent money on tickets and a parking pass, do whatever you want with it! but if you're complaining about people not coming back in the second half (i know ^^ didn't say that, i'm talking more to TKE), then the obvious solution is to end halftime pass outs. the result of halftime pass outs will always be people not coming back in or being late. so take your pick...end pass outs or continue to see a sparse 2nd half/3rd Q crowd for games that aren't close. and yes, this was 100% a comfortable win. the game was never in doubt. the closest FSU ever got was 13 and that was the halftime score. the margin only grew after that. no way around it, it was a blowout[Edited on November 5, 2018 at 12:58 PM. no noon games when it's 100 degrees will solve a lot of empty seats, selling beer in the stadium will solve a lot of empty non-student seats, but students will always have a tough time coming back so they shouldn't have so many very visible on tv seats if they can't keep them full.i don't care if there is an empty section in the corner of the upper deck, i just don't want it on tv visible during every play[Edited on November 5, 2018 at 1:01 PM. Reason : this was not a comfortable win until late, fsu showed they were capable of big plays and quick TDs]

the noon game situation is 100% up to TV. the school has no say in that. so yeah, it'd help...but it's also out of State's hands. i agree that selling beer in the stadium would be a big step in the right direction, but isn't that an NC legislative issue? so again, not much the university can do there at this point. and, imo, if you're selling beer in the stadium then you should end the halftime pass outs anyways. there's beer in the stadium, don't give people the option. i'm really shocked that y'all are acting like we didn't cruise to victory. this game was not in doubt in the 2nd half. halftime score: 27-14. here's what happened after that:FSU turnover on downs (4 and out)NCSU FG, 30-14FSU PUNT (3 and out)NCSU TD, 37-14FSU TD, 37-21NCSU TD, 44-21FSU turnover on downsNCSU FG, 47-21FSU turnover on downsNCSU PuntFSU TD, 47-28End of gamethey never gave us a scare in the 2nd half.
11/5/2018 1:40:18 PM
FSU turnover on downs (4 and out)NCSU FG, 30-14FSU PUNT (3 and out) <-- Game was basically over here. If FSU had scored and made it 30-21 (or 22 with a 2-point conversion), it would've been a football game.
11/5/2018 1:45:42 PM
Yeah pass outs needed to be ended 10 years ago. If you're that much of an alcoholic, just sneak it into the game.

Sell beer in the stadium. End pass outs. That’s the ideal solution imo. But the in stadium beer sales is probably a ways off with it being a legislative issue.
11/5/2018 2:05:07 PM
^^^Not really. Having a drink at halftime helps prevent a post game hangover. Doesn't mean you're an alcoholic. I'm fortunate in that my tailgating location is very very close to the stadium. But were it not, I'd just stay inside the stadium (which is what I did before lucking into this close location).Does NCSU not have any say in what time their games are? I didn't realize that was out of State's control.[Edited on November 5, 2018 at 4:12 PM. Reason : ]

... which we voted onit's not out of our hands, we would just rather have money and half empty stadiums on 100 degree days
11/5/2018 4:49:46 PM
It’s a pretty big difference between “NC State should decide to have less noon games” and “well they had a homage to vote against the current tv contract”
11/5/2018 5:20:41 PM
If they ended pass outs, I'd still leave at halftime every game. But the 50% of the time I come back, I wouldn't be able to.
11/5/2018 5:33:03 PM
Drinking more does not prevent a hangover. I guess that's the science they teach in frats.
11/5/2018 5:33:32 PM
Not really what I said jackass.
11/6/2018 8:25:00 AM
The game would have been in question if teh FSU coaches didn't go stupid and stop throwing the go route

I think postpone would have been a better term for TKE to use than prevent.
